I woke up this morning humming to Jamie Grace's  "beautiful day"

I have this feeling that today is going to be a beautiful day indeed

Urgggggh I hate Mondays

You know that feeling when you just had a memorable weekend and you have to go back to school to see the annoying faces of people like Osas and Shamir, and smiling face is there too with his annoying smiles ( Lucas I decided to call him smiling face cause his been smiling annoyingly too much these days) I don't know what's up with the guy.

I mean who his smile epp  just be smiling like caricature Everytime, but of course the likes of my friend Mabel thinks his smile is cute and would always be looking forward to seeing him smile.

But then I still have this feeling that today is going to be a beautiful day.

Indeed!

I arrived school early today, it was 13 minutes before the time for assembly so I decided to wait for Mabel in class so we could go to assembly together.

A few minutes later she walks in with her ever vibrant smile, ah swear my friend has the cutest smile.

Assembly was conducted in the big hall as usual, the principal was all smiles while addressing the students which got everyone surprised. Like that man has never smiled in his entire life,

Ok fine I might have done a little exaggeration there but the man is always wearing a Stern look

After sometime we all got to know the reason for his unusual display of smiles,

His wife had just put to bed

The assembly ended with shouts of congratulations from the students which brought about a lot of noise in the hall, but surprisingly the man didn't mind, guess he was too excited with the  arrival of the new bundle of joy in his life.

First period was over about 5 minutes ago and we are presently sitting in the chemistry laboratory waiting for the teacher.

Chemistry is one of my favorite subjects, yeah and that explains why am so excited for the lessons to begin.

Miss. Kimberly the chemistry teacher is a very beautiful woman, with fair skin,

About 5'7 ft tall and with a model like figure and was also nice and polite,

I remember my first day in her class she  was nice and wasn't rude like the others,

And she has this calm Demeanor which I admire a lot, she reminds me of my favorite teacher in my former school Miss. Rose,

I guess she is going to be my new favorite teacher.

" Good morning lovelies "

" Good morning ma'am"

" Hope you all had a lovely weekend? "

Perhaps her parents should have named her Loveleen  with the way she loves using the " love" word

" Yes ma'am" we all bustled in excitement...

Maybe not all of us

" Well today we are going to discuss the elements on the periodic table" she said inscribing the word ELEMENTS boldly on the board.

" We are going to concentrate mainly on the first twenty elements which am sure you all have an idea of from your Basic Science in Jss 3" she didn't wait for the students response but continued

" We will be learning their atomic numbers, atomic masses, their symbols, physical and chemical properties and so on.."

She drops the marker and clasps her hands together,

" So who can recite the first twenty elements?"

Ghen.. Ghen..

That was how my fellow classmates were just staring at the teacher like she was some piece of art wook.

Well except a few people me inclusive with three other people who raised up our hands to answer the question,

The rest were just there even my friend Mabel,

Hmm nawa o, common first twenty elements that my cousin Grace who is in JSS 2 can recite fluently

" Are you kidding me! " Miss. Kimberly exclaimed with shock

" Osas stand up and recite the first twenty elements" she said in a strict tone

Well she is also strict I forgot to mention

Osas stood up and started scratching the back of his head, as expected the olodo  couldn't recite it

" Louretta stand up and recite the first twenty elements"

Gbagaun

Louretta stood up staring at the teacher like someone who had just gotten back from a trance, well maybe she did cause the next words she uttered proved it.

" Ma'am what did you say?"

Yeah chemistry 👩‍🔬 is one of my favorite subject and I happen to be studying it presently in the university....
