"Dad, I told you to stop staring at her", I glared at him, before taking a seat beside her with my arm around her shoulder. My father shook his head in amusement.

"I've seen better", he bragged and my eyes widened, while Anika and him decided to burst into laughter. I rolled my eyes and sat there in annoyance.

"What? Old man can't even joke now? Stop being so sensitive", he grabbed a bottle filled with soda and turned on the TV.

"It has been reported that two teens have been missing for a week now. The couple was last spotted on a hill. While we have still people looking for them, nobody knows what caused that incident"

My father turned his head to me and Anika. She looked at him and then at me. We both nodded at the same time, which caused him to face-palm. My father sighed and we all just sat there in peace.

"Y'all couldn't have found a better way to die, right"

"We had very limited options", I told him and Anika looked at me surprised. My father seemed very disappointed.

"Well, at least I didn't die from a heart attack. How lame is that?", I told him and her eyes widened. Anika hit me and I looked at her confused.

"Get out", he said and I just watched him go red from embarrassment, which caused me to laugh. I grabbed Anika's hand and ran out of his house.

"Where should we go next?", I asked her and she tapped her chin. Anika smiled at me and I raised my eyebrow.

We walked over to the border of our world and the world of humans. She looked at me and took a step forward. Soon, we were standing at the same place where we met each other for the first time. The bakery.

"Let's go and scare people", she giggled and I smiled. We walked around the town. Suddenly, Anika stopped and dragged me into a shop.

"Get me a doughnut", she ordered and I looked at her unfazed. Anika had started being very greedy since we died.

"Magical word?", I said and she looked at me with a pout. I tried to act as if her cuteness didn't cause my heart to skip a beat. Hush, my heart had stopped beating since a week. I really had to get used to the world of goners.

"Baby", she said and I rolled my eyes. Anika glared at me before pulling me closer and kissing my cheek.

"Please", she said and I smiled. I walked over to the woman behind the counter and sneaked two doughnuts away.

I reached Anika and she squealed from happiness. She put her arm around mine and soon we were exiting the shop. Once we were out, we heard someone mumbling.

"Where did the two chocolate doughnuts go?"

Anika giggled and we walked down the street. When we reached the park near my apartment, we sat down on a bench. Kids were playing around. But there was one, who was sitting on a swing with his head hanging low.

I walked over to him, while Anika followed me. I looked at the kid. He seemed pretty sad. So, I started slightly pushing the swing. The kid's eyes wondered and he started swaying back and forth.

"Don't scare him like that", Anika mumbled and I slowed down, hoping he'd think it was the wind. The kid seemed slightly better, but we still chose to stay with him.

I looked at my watch and turned to Anika. I grabbed her hand and started running. She looked at me confused, but I couldn't tell her where I was taking her. When we finally reached the cinema, we stopped running. Anika looked at me.

"I never took you to the movies", I told her and she shook her head with the biggest smile on her face.

We sat down in the back and watched the latest Sherlock Holmes movie. While we were doing that, Anika held my hand and rested her head against my shoulder. And I kept putting popcorn in her mouth.

But soon stopped when I saw a couple making out. I put my hand over Anika's eyes. She kept trying to remove it, but I couldn't, not until they'd stop eating off each other's face.

She bit my hand and I finally pulled it back. Her eyes landed on the couple and then at me. She then looked at them again.

"Why were you looking at her?", she asked with her voice so low that I feared she might start crying anytime soon.

I shook my head in terror. Anika didn't look at me, her head hanging low. I tapped her shoulder, but she wouldn't even look at me.

"Baby, why would I look at her when I have you?", I whispered and she finally looked up with her eyes glossy.

"R-really?", she stuttered and I nodded my head excessively. Anika then smiled at me so sweetly that it could've caused me diabetes.

She cupped my face and pressed her lips against mine. Anika was about to pull away, when I started kissing her back and put my hand on her cheek.

I pulled away and noticed her slight tinted red cheeks. I smiled at the effect I had on her. She looked at me and I then pecked her cheeks.

"I love you, idiot", I told her and she buried her head in my chest, which caused my dead heart to flutter.

"I love you more, though", she said and I tried to act surprised.

"I don't think so, muffin", I told her and she glared at me. I held her hand and pecked her knuckles.

"Can y'all stop it? I feel very single sitting here", somebody interrupted us and we looked at him surprised.

"H-how can you see us?", I asked him, still very shocked.

"Ghosties", he answered and winked our way, which caused us both to go red.

I didn't like how the previous story was going and nor had I the time to finish it, because it required a lot of work. So, I decided on this new plot. I hope you guys liked it.
