Ashton and I have been up since six this morning. We are just too excited. Today, our friends are having us a gender reveal party. It's not too many people so it works with the Covid restrictions.

We had breakfast as usual then went to get ready to go. We were to be at Calum and Grace's at noon.

I walked into the bathroom where Ashton was and laughed as we wore our matching shirts. Apparently it was the only thing the boys did and they were super excited so we told them we'd wear them. They were white and had two elephants on them. One had a pink hearts as ears and the other had a blue.

"We look stupid" Ashton told me. I laughed and wrapped my arms around him,

"It's cute and the boys thought it was cool. Be nice" I smiled. Ashton nodded and pecked my lips,

"I can't believe we are finding out if we're having a girl or boy today" Ashton laughed, "I'm sad our parents can't be here though"

I sighed too. It did suck they couldn't be here but they were getting facetimed in when we do the reveal.

We pulled up to Calum's and parked on the street. We recognized the boys' cars then saw a few others. Ashton told me it was Andy Deluca, Ryan Flemming, and John Feldman.

We walked into Calum's backyard and everyone cheered. Ashton laughed and grabbed my hand.

Calum's yard was decorated adorably. It was a elephant theme. Elephants are my favorite animal so I know Grace had a lot of pull in this.

"This is so cute" I gushed and hugged the girls, letting go of Ashton's hand. He went off with the guys.

"Hey, this may have been unexpected but you're still doing this right. Just wait until your baby shower" Sierra smiled. I hugged them again before the four of us sat down with Andy and Ryan's wives.

"So what do you guys think you're having?" Crystal asked,

"I think boy and Ashton thinks girl" I laughed, "But, we were messing around with those old wives tales and it was a boy by only one so I have no clue"

"Well Grace is literally the only person that knows" Sierra pointed out,

"That is true and I'm very excited" she grinned,

"The boys are making bets. Michael is the only one who thinks it's a boy" Crystal laughed.

Ashton came over and sat down next to me and handed me a plate with some food on it. I recognized those nuggets and sauce anywhere,

"Did you all get Chick-fil-A?" I gasped,

"We did. Since they're closed today, I made Mike go pick it up yesterday" Crystal laughed,

"Alright, I'm going back with the guys" Ashton announced and stood before leaning down to me, "Do you need anything?" he asked. I shook my head and he kissed me before walking off.

Calum's gate opened and I turned to see who was walking in. As soon as the person walked in, I was on my feet and hugging her,

"Madeline! What?" I grinned,

"Sierra called me" she laughed and let go of me as Ashton walked over,

"How ya doing?" He hugged her too.

"Pretty good" she smiled.

After a while, Grace came up and grabbed Ashton and I and shoved us in front of the brick wall fence and sat one of the Elephfun elephants down and plugged it in to an extension cord. Ashton took my hand in his and interlaced our fingers as we saw Sierra and Crystal turn the two computer around. My family was on one and Ashton's was on the other.

"Okay. So when we turn that on, the trunk you know will fill with air and either pink dragonflies or blue dragonflies will fly out" Grace told us. I nodded and Ashton leaned down to kiss me quickly.

"You guys ready?" Grace asked as everyones phones went up to film,

"We're ready" I squeezed Ashton's hand. Grace nodded and the elphant turned on.

My heart was racing with anticipation as we waited for the stuff to fly out. Then...

"It's a BOY!"
