With only 10 weeks left, Ashton decided to do one last little overnight trip as just the two of us. He planned it all and I didn't even know until he woke me up an hour ago.

I sat at the table while Ashton put our bag in the car. We were only taking one because we're only going to be gone overnight. We'd be coming back tomorrow night.

Finally Ashton came back in and picked his phone up off the counter and held his hand out to help me up,

"I have the baby bag and carseat in the car too just in case he wants to make an early entrance" he smiled and led me to his black Range Rover.

I was still tired so I simply kissed him and climbed into the passenger seat, allowing Ashton to shut the door.

He climbed into the drivers seat and backed out and got us on the road, following the map on his phone,

"Okay so we have a two hour drive to Santa Barbara. Would you like to stop and get breakfast about halfway?" He asked, placing his hand on my thigh,

"That works" I nodded. Ashton smiled and I took his hand in mine.

After two hours and a quick stop for breakfast, we pulled up to a beautiful hotel. Ashton gave my hand a squeeze before letting go so he could use both hands to park.

We walked into the lobby and I followed Ashton up to the desk to check in,

"Hi and what's the last name on your reservation?" The lady grinned,

"Irwin" Ashton smiled politely.

"Okay" she spoke and looked at her computer, "You're over in section B by the pool. Room is 302" she smiled and placed two room keys down, which I grabbed.

Turning away, we made our way out the back door and down the sidewalk to section B.

I unlocked our room and we walked in. It was really nice. A large king bed in the middle with a big tv and a nice balcony with an amazing view.

Ashton sat our bag up on the desk before wrapping his arms around me,

"I was thinking maybe hang out by the pool then tonight go to dinner in town?" Ashton spoke, pressing kissed to my head.

I nodded into his chest and pulled back.

We both changed rather quickly and walked down to the pool, claiming two chairs. I laid back and closed my eyes. It was only 11:00 and I was already exhausted. I know I'll only be getting more exhausted once the baby is born,

"I can see him moving around" Ashton's hand touched my stomach. I opened my eyes and placed my hand over his. The baby was being really active today,

"He likes the pool" I smiled,

"Maybe we should move to a house with a pool" Ashton shrugged, making me look at him,

"Let's wait a couple years before we move" I laughed. Ashton nodded and laid back,

"I know. I was just letting you know I want to move. I don't want to be in my bachelor pad forever" Ashton spoke then closed his eyes.

When 4:00 hit, we went back to our room to get ready to go out tonight. We took a joint shower, but that was pretty difficult considering hotel showers are small.

Ashton put on jeans and his typical polka dot shirt while I put on jeans (that actually fit) and a sweater. This outfit proved that I looked as if I was gonna pop any minute,

"Stop overthinking. You're beautiful" Ashton popped up behind me, "Let's go. I'm starving"

We entered a cute little restaurant and took a seat near the back. It didn't take us too long to order.

"It's crazy that soon there's gonna be three of us" Ashton spoke as he grabbed my hand on the table,

"It's going to be a big adjustment. We still have a lot we gotta talk about and figure out" I sighed,

"Like bedtime" Ashton smiled. I laughed a little and nodded

"Let's just enjoy this weekend then we will figure things like that out" I told him. Ashton agreed.

After eating, we decided to walk through town. It was kinda chilly but it was nice,

"Do you remember when we first started dating and after every date we always took a walk downtown" Ashton gave my hand a squeeze.

I smiled. Of course I remember,

"I do. Our first kiss was during one of those walks" I laughed,

"We were waiting for the crosswalk to change. You had looked up at me and I just couldn't help myself" he smiled at me,

"Then we went back to your house" I smirked,

"Oh yeah. I definitely remember that" he smirked back and pecked my lips,

"And two, almost three years later, here we are engaged and about to have a baby" I grinned.

Ashton smiled and put his arm over my shoulder and held me in his side,

"Wouldn't have it any other way" he kissed my head.

When we made it back to the hotel, I was tired, my head hurt, my feet hurt, and my back hurt. Ashton had already changed and gotten in bed while I went and ran through my routine.

I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and changed out of my clothes, putting on a pair of sleep shorts and Ashton's shirt.

I turned the bathroom light off and climbed into bed with Ashton. As soon as I was settled with him, he turned the lamp off and pulled the blankets up on us,

"Pool tomorrow then maybe go to a few museums" Ashton mumbled in my ear,

"Of course" I smiled and pushed my back into his front,

"Get some sleep. I'll run and get us breakfast in the morning" Ashton kissed my neck,

"Goodnight. Love you"

"Love you too"
