Since neither Ashton or I had anything this weekend, we decided to go ahead and get everything we wanted and needed for the nursery. Since we know we are having a boy, it makes it easier now.

Ashton and I have also decided to just get going with it. We know our lives are busy, even with the pandemic still going on. We just want everything ready early because we don't want to be panicking right before,

"I have an idea for the nursery" Ashton spoke up as we drove through town,

"What's your idea?" I questioned, taking his hand in my lap,

"Dinosaur's" he smiled, "I was actually looking at nursery's on your Pinterest and I found a dinosaur one. They have dinosaur stuff at Pottery Barn"

I definitely liked the idea that's for sure,

"Let's do that! It's cute!" I grinned, "Picking decor will be easy. We're doing gray walls so a lot will work"

Ashton smiled then took his hand back so he could drive.

We ended up at The Grove so we could go to Pottery Barn Kids,

Ashton pulled me into Pottery Barn Kids and went straight to where he saw the dinosaur stuff. I was giddy just from his excitement alone.

I broke off from Ashton and looked for myself, finding a group of stuff with the same colors. It was all cute too and would go good with the gray walls,

"Ash!" I called him over. He turned around and walked over,

"Do you like these colors?" I asked. The color set was a cute green, a light yellow, a light blue, and a navy. It also had gray in it,

"I do" Ashton smiled and ran his hand over the thick quilt/blanket that was folded,

"He won't be able to use that until he gets bigger but we can hang it over the crib rail" I told him.

Ashton grabbed a packaged one, along with the clear package with the crib bedding,

"Oh oh, baby! Look at these" Ashton turned on his heels and pointed to these three pictures. I instantly grabbed them,

"We can also look at Hobby Lobby. They have cute dinosaur things" I suggested,

"Sounds good" he smiled, "Let's go check out and go get the paint. The boys are coming over to help me paint tomorrow"

"I want to get the letters of his name and put them on the wall too" I cut in,

"Absolutely" Ashton smiled.

< Sunday >

The boys got to the house around noon, thankfully bringing their girlfriends too. The girls were looking at the stuff we had gotten for the nursery. They saw all except the letters of our baby's name. We didn't want them to figure it out.

"The boys said that Ashton told them you have his name picked out" Sierra spoke up,

"We do" I nodded,

"Does anyone know?" Grace pressured. She was dying to know,

"Our moms and that's it. My dad doesn't even know. But our moms apparently are having a couple things made for us so they needed his name for it" I answered,

"Are they gonna be able to come out here at all?" Crystal asked. This was something Ashton and I have been trying to figure out.

"They are coming in a couple weeks. Anne was able to get permission to fly international" I informed,

"Awesome so then your baby shower will be then" Grace nodded matter-of-factly,

"What about Christmas? You can't exactly travel then" Crystal questioned,

"It'll be just me and Ashton probably. We can't risk me getting sick then. It's too close to the due date" I shrugged as our four obnoxiously loud boyfriends came into the living room.

Luke, Calum, and Michael covered in gray paint and Ashton in navy. We had decided to do one wall navy when we were in the paint store yesterday,

"We ordered pizza so we're gonna take a break" Ashton told me as he and the other boys sat on the floor,

"How's it looking?" Sierra asked,

"Good. The first coat is done and drying. We just need to do a second coat of the gray. The navy doesn't need another coat" Ashton replied, very proud of himself,

"And the whole baby theme you guys have going on is dinosaurs?" Grace figured and I nodded,

"Good cause that's going to be the baby shower theme then" Crystal laughed.

When the painting was done, our friends left and Ashton and I were in the, now dry, nursery. He had picked up all the plastic on the floor and had dragged the furniture boxes in,

"I'll probably see if your dad can help me with this stuff" Ashton stretched his arms out over his head then came and wrapped his arms around me,

"This is crazy" I laughed looking around the room,

"But it's exciting and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and our little boy"
