CHAPTER 2

[Aiden's POV]

"My name is-"

"Daina."

"What?" she said, raising her eyebrows.

What the hell am I doing?

"I said it's a busy DAY. I have to go." I started walking away. I can't embarrass myself any longer.

"Wait!" She lightly held my arms to stop me. "I just want to ask you a few questions." Her smile reaches her eyes and I can't seem to take my eyes off that. Why do I have to see her right now? Smiling, nonetheless. Not that I'm complaining but she just caught me off guard!

I tried to calm myself down, hoping I don't look like a red balloon that's about to pop.

I raised my eyebrows urging her to continue. She took the hint.

"Right! As I was saying, I'm Ada. I mean I'm Aria. That's both my name but not my full name." She stopped for a second to take a breath then she slapped herself and I swear to god my jaw just dropped on the floor. Is she okay?

"Sorry about that. You can call me whatever you want. Both work fine. By the way, I'm Clementine's friend. She's the girlfriend of your friend and bandmate, Mark."

Oh god, she looks cute even when plastered. I don't think I can handle it anymore.

I put up my hand and cut her out. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be rude but aren't you late for class? Because now, I sure am."

Her eyes widen, realizing that she's also running late for her first Monday period.

"That's what I thought," I smirked. "If you still want some answers to your questions, come find me later." I smiled then walked away.

I heard her footsteps going the other direction but then stopped, "I will definitely find you. See you after class!"

I didn't get the chance to turn around to answer because I started hearing her steps disappear.

I breathed a sigh of relief. Now, what are these questions? As far as I know, she doesn't even know I exist. I only watch her from afar. I never approached her or took any advances.

It's Monday. I have a quiz that's waiting for me for my class which I'm definitely late for. But I'm sure that my mind will be wandering around.
