Two weeks later, it is the submission for that project. I was able to finish it a week ago, ahead of schedule just because I could not stand listening to it any longer.

I stood in front of the class and explained the story behind the song while Aiden was setting up my laptop, ready to play the video I edited. "So, here it is. Have fun watching!"

The whole room is surrounded by my voice, singing the first verse and I looked at Professor McKinley to check her reaction but her face does not tell a damn thing. The video ended and everyone was silent.

I cleared my throat before speaking, "Soooo...that's our project, Thank you."

I was about to sit down beside Clem when Professor McKinley started speaking, "I guess we're all speechless by that flabbergasting video. Why don't you give them a round of applause!"

I was rooted there while everyone else clapped their hands until Clem pulled me down to sit that I was able to take in what Professor McKinley just said.

"Did she just praise our project?" I asked, mouth wide open.

"That she did, love." She put her arm on my shoulder, half hugging me.

Professor Walker strode across the room, addressing the class. "You know me guys. I don't show favoritism but let's all be real here, shall we? That last video is spectacular. This is what old people mean when they said they were saving the best for last. I get it now!" He made exaggerated gestures and everyone laughed at his statement, even Professor McKinley, which is a rare sight. I thought I will graduate without seeing that.

My friends and I stayed at the club room after class, organizing papers and other requirements that are needed for the graduation ceremony

"I thought you'll show me your work first?" Macy said.

"I thought you'll show me your work, too?" I looked at her just in time to see her rolled her eyes but there was a hint of a smile on her lips.

"But damn girl, why didn't you tell us you could sing?"

"Because I don't sing! Aiden just forced me into it. I have no choice because he won't do it even though he is the singer." I said as I compiled our application forms, putting it inside an envelope.
