Dinner

Hiccup's P.O.V.

As the day goes by, I meet more of the crew. I've also filled out a bunch of paperwork. During lunch, Jack and Elsa got a case about a 16 year old girl being raped.

I'm starting to get worried a bit, because I still don't know who the victim is. I mean my sister is 16 and same with the victim. They're both girls, but that's all I know. Now I'm just waiting for them to return so I can find out.

"You okay newbie? You look a bit worried." Astrid looks up at me from her paperwork and looks at me.

"I'm fine." I lied.

"If I know anything, it's that you're laying." She says.

"Fine, I'm worried." I give in.

"About what?" She asks. Why is she asking me? I thought she didn't like me.

"Why are you asking? I thought you hated me." I say.

"I don't hate you......I dislike you. There's a difference. Plus you're my partner, I'm here to help you." She states. "So, what's wrong?"

"You know how Elsa and Jack have that case about a 16 year old girl being raped?" I ask.

"Yea, why?"

"Well, I'm worried that it's my sister. Jack and Elsa aren't back with the information about her so it gets me thinking." I say.

"Huh, if it was your sister, Jack would've called and told you. So there's nothing to worry about. Plus the place is on the other side of town."

"You're right." I think about it and realize that she was right. Jack knows Hope, and he knows that whatever happens to her I'd want to know.

"I know I am." She smirks, making me smile a bit.

Just then, Elsa and Jack come out of the elevator and into the room. Elsa goes straight to her desk and starts typing in her computer. Jack comes over to me and leans against my desk.

"Hey!" I greet him, leaning back in my chair.

"Hey." He greets back.

"How's the case coming?" I ask.

"Good."

"So, what do you have so far for information?" Astrid asks.

"First off, the girls name is Anna Miller, she's a 16 year old with blonde hair and blue eyes. She says she was just walking around town when a guy with black hair came up to her and knocked her out. She woke up on a bed with her clothes off and the guy on top of her." He explains.

"Was she able to make out his face?" Astrid asks.

"Yea, we have a sketch artist with her now." He replies.

"I've checked the security cameras to see if I could find anything. Where did she say she was grabbed?" Elsa looks up from her computer and asks Jack.

"She said it was Boston Street."

"Okay."

"Hey Hiccup?" Jack calls for my attention.

"Yea?" I ask.

"What you doing tonight?" He asks.

"I was gonna go to my parents house, have dinner with them and then take Toothless and go home. Why?"

"Wanna come with Elsa and I for dinner?"

"Wouldn't I be intruding your guys date?" I raise an eyebrow and smirk.
