Valentina was like her dad. They both were experts in pushing people away, wih acceptence of a certain few, they both had a dark sense of humor and loved dark quiet nights. They were both pale, Valentina a little less then her dad. But thats where their similarities ended. While Val kept pushing people away, there was always a special aura about her that drew them back. While Val liked her dark quiet nights in the sea, her dad liked his dark quiet nights in the cemetery. While his skin could be as pale as porcelain, hers had a slight natural tan to it making it look more fair. Where his eyes were an almost warm chocolate brown that hid alot of emotions and secrets, hers were a brilliant sea green that mostly showed exactly how she felt. While her dad acted on controlled emotions, she acted on impulse. Which is why when she found herself standing in front of her teenaged dad and his friends, she was extremely furious.

Valentina was not happy. She had wanted some 'quiet' time in the Hades cabin to sort through her thoughts on her ever existent family problems. But it seems the Gods have different ideas, or well one God, Hephesteus, because not long after she just sat on her bed, a legacy of his, Jamie Valdez, walked in bringing with him one of his latest inventions. He wanted to show and tell her all about it. "Jamie! What is that?" She asked feeling annoyed.
"This is what will change everything!" he started, "this will solve all times problems." "What?" Val asked starting to get irritated.
Jamie turned back to his machine explaining what it was and how he built it. Val groans, before leaving the Hades cabin and walking out to the beach that was near camp half-blood. As she got closer to the beach, she saw three teens in the sea just enjoying themselves. A girl with dark hair and blonde tips with stormy grey eyes in a white one-piece, she was slightly tan. The other two were twins, both male, both with a natural tan, both had sandy blonde hair and were in blue trunks. They looked almost identical, 'almost'. The only difference between them were their eyes, one was sea green and the other was the same stormy grey as the girl. Valentina knew these teens, everyone at camp knew these teens, they were the Jackson's.

Helena, the girl, and Luke and Charles, the twins. Valentina sat on a rock a few feet from the Jackson's hoping they wouldn't see her. They didn't, but her best friend, Jonathan(or Joe as he liked to be called) Grace - who just showed up - did "Val! Thank gods I found you!" He said loudly causing the Jackson's to turn their way. "Oh, thanks a lot Grace, it's not like I'm trying to be completely discrete or anything." Val replied sarcastically standing up as the Jackson's walked toward them.
"Sorry, I'm just trying to shake Jamie off. He's hell bent on getting me to test out his machine " Joe apologized. "You too?" Helena asked as the Jackson's stood by the two teens.
"If we're discussing Jamie's prototype of a time travelling machine,  then I'm pretty sure he'll 'try' to test it out on everyone at camp" Charles, the twin with grey eyes said. "Its a prototype?" Joe asked confused, "of a time machine?" Helena added also confused. "Also Jamie's found us." Luke, the twin with green eyes said. They all turned to where Luke stared to find Jamie a few feet from them. "Jackson, Grace, Jackson, Jackson," he said nodding to the respective teen. "Ja- Di Angelo" he added when he caught Val's glare. He set up his machine, it wasn't much, just a small sreen, a wierd control button, and something that looks like a scanner. "You have all been chosen to have an opportunity to test out my newest and most awesomest invention." Jamie said walking up to stand by themm. Groans of disappointment came from the 'lucky five'. "And all you have to do is stand right there." He continued ignoring their groans.
"I'm not time travelling. " Val said firmly. "That's fine, I wasn't asking for your permission. " Jamie said before he pressed a button on his wierd control. A bright light flashed where they stood and the next second, six teens and the machine disappeared from sight.
