CHAPTER 5

Silence. That's what happened after Helena said her full name. Silence. It wasn't a good silence where they were waiting for loud cheers after, nor was it a bad silence, where an argument or fight were to break  loose, it was just silence. It wasn't peaceful because there was a lot of tension in the air, but it also wasn't uncomfortable because their main question had been answered.

These teenagers were legacies, yes, that much was true, but they weren't legacies from the present time. There was no demigod in both camps aside from Percy with the last name Jackson, and Percy was still eighteen. Hardly old enough to have a teenaged kid roughly five years younger than him.

"You're all from the future aren't you?" Reyna asked. The six teens nodded.

Jason, Piper, Frank and Hazel smiled towards a still shocked Percy. Annabeth and Reyna were still watching the six future teens closely. Mr.D scoffed while Chiron tried to quickly adapt to this new information.

And Nico? Well Nico was frozen shocked. There was a girl that stood before him that looked like a female Percy with blonde hair tips and Annabeth's eyes.

This girl had said her name was Helena, that her last name was Jackson. 'This girl is Percy's future daughter ', and Nico felt his heart shatter as he thought these words. He looked down gathering his emotions and enough courage to wear a mask that said 'I-don't-care'.

Nico felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked up and was met with the concered sky blue eyes of his best friend, Will Solace.

They were the best of friends and since Nico was so close to Will, him being the first person Nico ever opened up to, everyone thought they were in a relationship.

"Are you okay?" Will asked, fully aware of Nico's crush on Percy.
"I'm fine." Nico replied flatly. Will didn't look like he believed Nico, but didn't pressure the boy with more questions.

"Okay, now that we know you guys are from the future, can you tell us your names?" Hazel asked after getting over her shock.

"With pleasure!" Jamie exclaimed excitedly, "I'm Jamie as you already know. Jamie Landon Valdez. I'm fourteen and at your service demigods!"
"Valdez" Leo repeated. "Sooo, your my kid?" he asked. Jamie nodded. "That is so cool!" Leo exclaimed, "I have a kid! Jason, I have a kid! FINALLY, someone falls for my hotness and stays!"

"Were you ever in a relationship?" Will asked. "Of course! But I was too hot and they couldn't contain it, so they just left." Leo answered, grinning. "Are you good with your hands? Can you build stuff?" Leo asked Jamie who grinned, "I built the machine that brought us here. " "Awesome!"

Before they could continue their discussion,  Helena cut in, "Well you already know my name, these two idiots are my brothers." she said pointing to Luke and Charles who scowled at her.

"I'm Luke Jackson," " and I'm Charles Jackson." the twins said, "We're sixteen." "So you three are my kids?" Percy asked, "whose your mother?" "Wow, you are so dense, it's Annabeth!" Helena said.

Both Percy and Annabeth looked shock. "How? we're not even together anymore!" Annabeth protested.

The future teens grew quiet, not knowing what to say. Their parents refused to tell them how they came to be and truth be told, they didn't really want to know either.

"How did it happen?" Percy repeated Annabeth's question.

"We don't know." Charles spoke up, "It's not something we like to talk about. We can't just go up to our parents and say, 'hey mum, dad, how were we conceived? was it an accident or did you plan to have us, tell me everything' " he said sarcastically, "You see the ackward situation that puts us all in."

The ten demigods and Chiron smiled at how sassy and sarcastic he was, he definitely got that from Percy.

Piper noticed Val standing a little behind Joe. "What's your name?" she first asked Joe. "Joe. Jonathan, but call me Joe. Everyone does." Joe replied. "Joe, what? No last name?" Leo asked. "Grace. Joe Grace." Joe answered looking at Jason who stood shocked.

"Oh, look you have a kid as well sparky!" Percy teased. Jason glared at Percy. "My mother is Piper Grace, well I guess Piper McLean in this time." Jason turned immediately to Piper who smiled happily at him.

Nico felt happy that Jason and Piper stayed together, got married and had a child. He turned his gaze from the happy couple to Val standing behind Joe.

"What about you? What's your name? " he asked softly, for some reason, he felt connected to the girl. Everyone turned back to the future teens.

"Valentina." Val answered. Hazel smiled, studying Val's every feature, "Beautiful eyes. Did you get them from your mother?" she asked. Val frowned shaking her head, "Padré" she replied softly.

"Padré?" Annabeth asked confused looking at Reyna who just shrugged. Nico's eyes widened, he knew what Val said.

"Val, can I call you Val? I'm calling you Val. Val, what's your last name?" Leo asked. "Di Angelo " Val mumbled. "Sorry, can you speak louder? I couldn't hear you." Frank asked.

"Di Angelo " Val repeated loudly. Annabeth and Reyna took a watchful glance towards Percy, and unlike Nico, he wasn't that great at concealing his emotions and putting up a mask.

Piper was still shocked at her own son and Leo was chatting actively with Jamie ignoring the once again sudden silence. Chiron and Mr.D remained silent. Jason, Hazel, Frank and Will turned to Nico and Nico just stared shocked at Val.

It was now Percy's turn to feel hurt along with all the emotions that never failed to come with heartbreak. "Whose your mother?" Percy asked. He didn't want to know. He didn't want to know who Nico fell in love with and had a child with. He didn't want to know, because if he did, it might probably hurt as much as carrying the weight of the sky, or maybe even worse.

But he had to know, at least ease his already aching heart, even just a little bit. Val scoffed, "madré? Come se ti importasse se ne avessi uno." (mother? Like you'd care if i had one.) Val replied in Italian.

Everyone from the present looked confused except for Nico who understood her. "Val!" Helena and Joe scolded being the only two from the future who understood her.

Val rolled her eyes. "I don't have a mother." The atmosphere turned sullen.
"I'm truly very sorry for your loss." Chiron said. Val let out a cold emotionless laugh. "No,no,no. You misunderstood. I don't have a mother. I've never had a mother."

"Then how are you existing here and now?" Frank asked. "Was it IVF or surrogacy?" Annabeth questioned. "I mean it has to be someway. Nico can't get pregnant. Males don't have the reproductive organs for that." Will said. "Our parents are literally gods and goddesses..Anything is possible. " Leo pointed out.

Val frowned, her eyes now a cold blue,  "How 'bout the lot of you shut up, before I shut you up permanently. " she growled.
"Val." Luke spoke up. He shook his head when Val turned to him. Val glared back at the present teens, especially Percy, before running out of the Big House.

A/N: That's chapter 5. I would keep writing, but I didn't know when to stop, so I just stopped there..Also the Italian is from google translate so don't be to harsh on me if its wrong..
