(Jealousy) Draco / Reader

        A/N: Okay, so I know I said that i wouldn't do anymore chapters with no specified house, but fuck it. i want to. This is more along the lines of Draco x non Slytherin reader though; sorry if you're Slytherin.

"You never had a problem with him before."

           Y/N's arms were crossed, her usually bright eyes now stern and dark. The common room swallowed the two, the dungeons colder as it was now nightfall.

            "Obviously," Draco spat. "I didn't have a problem with him before he started to make a move on you."

     Y/N's dumbfounded face only proved that she was being honest; she had no damn idea what Draco was talking about. How could she not see the way that boy looked at her, adoringly, and as definitely more than a friend?

          "You're crazy," said Y/N bluntly. "He didn't mean anything like that by what he said."

       "'You're the most beautiful girl at Hogwarts," Draco mocked in an imitation of Cedric Diggory. "You deserve nothing less than the best. Oh please, Y/N, he's trying to flatter you to get in your pants!"

         "He was just being nice!" Y/N argued. "And he's said stuff like that before, it's not-" She regretted the words as soon as they fell out of her mouth.

        Draco's eyes flashed with anger that Y/N could see was slowly growing in his mind, yet he reverted to his typical cool composure.

     "Oh has he?" laughed Draco coldly. "Guess I can't be surprised that you don't realize then. All of these years, his bloody friendship has apparently be-"

        "Who cares?" Y/N cut him off in frustration, springing up from the couch and gesturing angrily. "You know I wouldn't try anything with him, you know I wouldn't trade you for any guy in the universe, so even if he did like me, who the fuck cares?"

          He stood up just as she had, towering over her and staring at her contemplatively but intimidatingly. Any other girl would've crumbled, ran, or swooned, but this expression was not new to Y/N; she simply returned it with a glare.

          He moved in toward her, picking up her chin high enough to where she was looking directly at him. Pulling her face towards his own, their bodies became closer.

      "I care." he growled. "Because blokes like that, they want you like I want you. They want to do things your brain wouldn't even think of; I know men. They don't have the purest of intentions."

       A smile quirked at Y/N's lips.

  "Big bad Cedric Diggory is going to steal me away?" she teased. "I didn't know Hufflepuffs scared you so much, Drakey."

         Draco roughly shoved her up against the cold cobblestone wall behind her, causing her to gasp and lose her composure.

      "You don't want to get on my bad side right now, Y/N." he warned. His breath was hot, and his words sent shudders down her body.

"Draco..." Y/N whispered, her eyes looking into his own that bore into her soul with an overtaking stare.

"Maybe..." he muttered. "Maybe I need to just show you how much I care, hm?"
