Our Story

The 'beginning of the end'

"So we're just going to skip a bit in the future to when we flew back to Chicago to do AVPS" Darren started.

"So just to fill you in on what we skipped...Darren and I got settled into our new apartment and we couldn't believe we didn't move in with each other before." Olivia laughed.

"haha" Darren laughed "but that is not the most interesting event that happened while we we're in L.A.... Olivia got offered a roll in a movie!" Darren said happily.

"Yes yes I did, but what we didn't know at the time was that it was being filmed in London" Olivia said sadly. "but that is not the point right now, right now we're going to talk about the 'beginning of the end'" Olivia said with air quotes.

Flashback

Darren and Olivia had just gotten settled into Joey and Lauren's apartment, which is where they were staying for the duration of AVPS, with some rules stating 'no loud sex when others are home'.

Rehearsals started as soon as Darren and Olivia got settled in. The next couple weeks were filled with early mornings and late nights, which gave Olivia and Darren zero alone time. All they both wanted to do was spend time together alone.

Finally they both got an off day and Darren deiced to surprise Olivia with a date night. They would be going to Deja's Cafe, the same restaurant from their one year anniversary.

"Okay you can open you eyes" Darren said positioning Olivia to where she could see the restaurant sign clearly .

"Darren...y-you did't have to do all this" Olivia said falling more in love with Darren than she thought she ever could.

"I know I didn't have to... I wanted to. I wanted you to know how much I love you and how much it kills me not being able to spend time with you like this everyday" Darren said before pulling Olivia into a hug and resting his chin on her head.

"I love you too" Olivia said before pulling Darren into the restaurant claiming she was starving.

Dinner was going as planned. They had listened and sung along to the live music playing and talked about how excited they were about opening AVPS. Halfway through Olivia's story about how Lauren fell and busted her knee during a rehearsal Darren wasn't at, he had zoned out thinking about how he wanted to spend the rest of his live with her.

"Darren are you even listening to anything i'm saying" Olivia said punching Darren playfully on the shoulder.

"Yes...maybe...no" Darren stuttered "I'm sorry I can't exactly help that my brain likes to think about our future together" Darren blushed not believing what he just blurted out.

"oh really...and what does our future hold" Olivia blushed also.

"I can't say" Darren winked.

"I love you so much you know that" Olivia said looking at Darren in adoration.

"I love you too...what you you think about getting a hotel for tonight" Darren winked.

"I think that sounds amazing" Olivia winked back

"Okay one second" Darren said as he felt his pocket buzz.

'Hey Dare... heard you're back in town... can we meet up I miss you- Mia'

Darren's heart eyes quickly turned into angry ones as he read the text. He hadn't heard from Mia since she left him that night. There was no part of him that wanted to meet up with her. He shuttered at the thought of being in the same bed as her.
