Chapter 10 - Afternoon

I woke up at 8:00 a.m. With slobber on my mouth.

Yuck!

I slowly began to float in the in the direction of the kitchen from the delicious smell of bacon pancakes that cake was making.

" Mornin' honey, you ready to eat?"

She asked.

" I sure am."

I said as she put a plate her goodness in front if me.

Cake handed me fork and knife.

" No need my dear sister, for I will eat this delicious plate with modern utensils, my hands."

" You're one weird girl, ya know."

I started to laugh and then began to eat shoving one pancake in mouth after another.

" Oh, that's just SOOOOOO cute. I'm sure Marshall Lee MUST love seeing YOU do THAT."

She said sarcastically.

" Shwut Wub, yoo."

I was too busy eating to realize that she had mentioned Marshall Lee. And too busy to talk accurately.

" So Princess Sugar called if we wanted to hang out and I said yes, so we're meeting with her at the Candy Kingdom. Ya know, just so ya know."

I was bored and lazy. And everybody knows those are heart-breaking moments in person's life. :,(

Said Cake in worry.

" I'm sure it's nothing, Cake. Besides if it was we'd remember it."

Maybe she's just being the over-worrier she is.

" Oh yeah! Like the time you forgot something and you thought if wasn't that important. But that something was to fight the evil witch monster that was terrorizing the grassland citizens.

Cake rolled her eyes at me and returned to worry her fluffy tail on that forgotten memory bubble.

" Fionna play Video games now."

Bmo said tugging on my long sleeved sky blue sweater.

I couldn't play straight because of what Cake had told me earlier.

I couldn't get the thought that I had forgotten something out of my mind.

What was I forgetting!

I looked at our clock on the wall with us as the hands of the clock.

It was 4:10 p.m.

I had a feeling that 4:00 had something to do with it.
