in this while that i haven't updated there's been so much happening in neocity like wtf sis i can't even keep up anymore 😳

but ummm i'm going fucking crazy over nct 2020. all these interactions, 'welcome sun & moon' doing god's work and joining our babies, jcc's recent episodes were so cute and the new tcc (taeyong's communication center) got me hyped as hell!! to not mention awsaz which is just the best damn series on the nct daily channel 😭

speaking of new content: the superm album and blackpink's 'lovesick girls' are masterpieces and i am living for them!! let me know what you thought about both of them!

 The weather outside wasn't the best. When it rains, some people would say it's romantic, some would say it's calming, some would say it's the perfect weather for a nice warm cup of tea and a book, or maybe for a nap. For you it was just depressing. The lack of color in the sky reminding you that life has its grey sides and that unfortunately, not everything is sunshine and rainbows.

 You paced around your living room, hoodie and sweatpants on as the coldness from the outside had made its way into your house. A mug of hot chocolate warming your hands and a whirl of thoughts inside your mind. You couldn't stop thinking about Dong Sicheng.

 Sicheng, or WinWin as his friends would often called him, was one of your closest friends, your friendship starting during your high school years when you figured that you shared a deep hatred for your math teacher with the boy. Your friendship only grew from that point on, going out together in multiple occasions, him becoming the one person you called when you were bored and just wanted to go on a walk or talk about life. In college it remained the same. He lived only five minutes away from you so it was definitely much easier to get together, hence your friendship growing much stronger than before, if even possible.

 In your mind, it was you and him against the world. Of course you had more friends besides Sicheng but at the end of the day, he was the only one you truly needed.

 Maybe you were going crazy, or maybe it made sense, but the second you figured your feelings towards the chinese boy were more than platonic you panicked. There was no way you could have started liking him so suddenly, right? He had been your best friend for nearly five years, for crying out loud. Perhaps the way his physical appearance changed when he moved to college was a factor, or maybe it was the hours upon hours you spent with the boy, studying, talking, hanging out or just doing nothing at all. It could have been the way you noticed how caring he was towards you and the little things he did everyday, such as bringing you your favorite drink every morning, bringing your favorite snacks whenever you invited him over, remembering the small things you told him, tangling his hand in your hair to play with it, letting you hug him when you clearly knew that he wasn't the biggest fan of intimacy. Why did you have to start falling for him?

 You couldn't figure if you felt more like punching a hole through your wall or like crying your eyes out when he told you he was going on a date with this girl from one of your classes. You knew he had friends besides you, some of them boys, some other girls, and it obviously didn't bother you because, you know, everyone has to have friends, but you did know that he was getting awfully close with that specific girl.

 You didn't hate her. How could you? You didn't even know her. But the fact that you could possibly lose WinWin to someone else made your heart hurt like never before.
