So this part is written from Loki's POV so enjoy!!!
"Wow Midgardians are so uncivilised," Loki thought to himself as he watched a women scream at her husband. The fight had begun when she had stumbled across him at the Australian Gala which he was attending with his girlfriend. It was a slurred argument speckled with name calling and lame excuses about having to work late and the whole time the husband hadn't noticed the much younger plaything hanging off his wife's arm.
"Earthly men have no sense of honour...but they do make an amazing semi-frozen dairy dessert or whatever they are called," he mutters as he switches to his Italian self and admires the Colosseum stood in front of him - trying to get rid of the headache the quarrel had given him.
"These humans think they have such a long and complex history," he scoffs under his breath. "If they had just let me rule them they'd actually have something to teach in their education centres - Asgardian lore is so much more interesting."
He carries on thinking how the world run over by his Chitaurian army would have been so much more refined and modern; sighing contently at the visions.
Suddenly his interest snaps to Brazil where he gazes upon a beautiful blonde women who was causally swimming towards him. Her blue eyes clamped on his velvet greens. A small smirk plays on his lips - well isn't this a distraction. She slinks over to his lounger as he swings his legs down leaving her space to perch on the woven seat. Leaning over she whispers in a sultry voice,
"Hey there, I haven't seen you around here before."
"I'm just visiting here," he smiles at her, his eyes now twinkling with mayhem. "The local scenery is very pleasing." He muses as his eyes linger up her tanned, toned figure, she was wearing a pink bikini which left nothing to imagination.
She giggles whilst widening her eyes trying to convey a look of innocence.
"I was wrong," Loki thinks to himself, "Midgardian women have even less honour than their male counterparts."
"You know I was saving a little gift for the prettiest girl I met, I think it's time to get it out," he purrs into her neck. He gives her the most fleeting of kisses against her collarbone before turning around and pretending to reach for something.
"You think I'm pretty," she asks. She is sitting completely still clearly entranced by the handsome man in front of her - little does she know how mischievous he is.
"Close your eyes for me dear," he says his silky-smooth British accent immediately putting her at ease. Fluttering her painted eyelids shut she reaches out, palms facing upwards, waiting for her gift to be placed in her grasp. Her mind was running amok with images of jewels and necklaces or a talisman from a faraway land.
"Open your eyes now dear," he purrs again.
Her scream shocks several people as she quickly rushes away from Loki, shaking her hands above her head in dismay. Loki lets out a small laugh and runs his hands through his hair. Slowly he reaches down and scoops up the fallen object, before walking over to the edge of the shrubbery that surrounds the pool's courtyard and places it in the grass. He watches with fascination as it slivers away. Grinning inwardly, he congratulates himself on his forward thinking, he knew when he saw the snake sliver past that it was too good an opportunity to miss. He was always fond of the slippery creatures and had a special touch with him. Never had he been bitten.
