Part of me expected Tris to try and talk me out of turning Marcus in for what he's done to Four, but I should have known better. She has hated that man far longer than I have.

When I leave the training room, I go directly to my grandfather's office since he would have the access to the fear landscape video that Tris told me to get. He isn't there when I arrive, so I just open up his computer not wanting to wait, I mean I do have instructions from a leader to get the video.

I hate Candor headquarters as soon as I enter, but I have a mission to complete. That man shouldn't be running a faction.

"What can I help you with?" the blonde receptionist asks me at the desk.

"I'm here to report abuse," I respond as the woman stares me down. She must be using her Candor lie detecting powers on me.

"Shouldn't you be reporting this to the Dauntless Leaders?" she asks me.

I glare at the woman. "I would if the person I'm reporting was Dauntless, but he isn't."

My glare dares the woman to ask another question, but she doesn't. She simply directs me to an office to wait in while she finds someone to talk to me.

A dark skinned man enters the office about ten minutes after I do. I'm surprised by the speed in which someone was found, but then again, this isn't Dauntless.

"I hear that you want to report abuse, but the abuser isn't of your faction," the man says getting straight to business. "How exactly do you know about the situation if they aren't of your faction?"

"The victim is one of my initates," I respond smoothly. "I am training the transfers this year."

The man takes what I have said into consideration. "What is the initate's name?"

"Tobias Eaton."

The face of the man in front of me stiffens in shock. "I'll be right back."

He disappears out the door.

I sit alone for about twenty minutes before the dark skinned man returns with another, younger man with short dark hair, slanted eyes, and high cheekbones. I recognize him as the new member of Candor leadership, Jack Kang from a video call I accidentally witnessed between him and Tris.

"Hello," Kang says in a deep voice. "I hear that you are reporting Marcus Eaton for the abuse of his son."

Kang dismisses the man who was originally taking care of the situation and takes a seat behind the desk.

"Yes," I reply with a hardened voice. I don't particularly appreciate Kang's tone. It's like he's already decided that I'm lying. "I have evidence to back up my claim as well."

I take out the picture that I took of Four's back as well as the disc that contains the footage from his fear landscape. Kang audibly gasps when he picks up the photo.

"The disc is footage from Tobias's fear landscape," I tell him as he reaches for it.

Jack doesn't even finish the video, all he had to see was up to the point where I hear the belt strike Four. If the stiffness of his back, and the pallor of his face is anything to go by, I would assume that the faction leader in front of me is in a state of shock.

"Do you have any idea of how long this has been going on?" Kang asks me once he has regained control of his features.

"From what I've gathered, it would seem that it started when Tobias was nine. After his mother's death. Tobias says that Marcus beat her before then."

I make sure not to mention that Tris knew about the situation. I don't know how well that would go over for her since she's literally known about it for five years.

"I will have Marcus taken into custody tomorrow," he says with a stressed sigh. "We will need Tobias present for the trial, when will he be available to come?"

I have to think. Today is Monday, September fourth, and Visiting Day, the first break day, is in eight days. "September twelfth and thirteenth are both break days before stage two."

Kang nods. "We will have to do it on the thirteenth, then. We are not permitted to hold trials on Visiting Day."

"Message either Tris or James with the time, and we'll have Tobias here." I pause for a moment. "Thank you for taking this seriously. When the other guy brought you in, I honestly thought that you weren't going to believe me at all."

Kang nods at me without saying anything else, so I take that as my dismissal.

Once I return to the Dauntless compound, I head directly to Tris's apartment. She will want to know how everything went right away.
