"His name is Orion, and he looks just like you," I say suddenly. "I needed to tell you about him before someone asks about my stretch marks."

Tobias's eyes scan me up and down like he's trying to see what differences there are to me now that he can see more than just what is visible with clothing on.

After a bit, he kisses me, and I can feel all of the emotions he's feeling. The fear and anxiety and excitement and love. All of them.

When we pull apart, he says, "I can't wait to meet him."

Those words mean so much more to me than he can ever understand. This whole time I've worried about how he would react to Ri, and hearing him accept his son gives me hope for the future.

I attack his lips again not wanting to release him, but the seven minutes are almost up, and I know Zeke will come barging through that door to inform us of the time.

When Zeke does, he takes in my facial expression before speaking. "You told him?"

"Yeah," I say. I can't seem to get this grin off my face, and I need to before I can go back to the initates.

"Still need me to get him at midnight?" Zeke asks even though I told him that no matter what he would be bringing Tobias to me at midnight.

"Yes. You know I'm not making Shauna stay up that late. She needs her sleep too. I remember how exhausting it is."

Tobias is looking back and forth between us during the exchange.

"How exhausting what is?" Tobias asks confused.

"Being pregnant," I reply without thinking. "Zeke's girlfriend, my other best friend, Shauna, is about six months pregnant with a little girl. I can't wait for Ri to meet his future best friend."

Zeke shakes his head at me and reminds me that we need to go back to the initates, so I force my face to be blank before reentering the room.

We play for a little while longer until it gets to Myra, the Erudite girl. It's her turn to choose someone.

"Before Myra chooses someone," I speak up. "This will be the last person. It's ten o'clock and you all have to be in the training room by eight in the morning. Be on time. I suggest trying to arrive at least five minutes early."

I then nod at Myra.

"Six," she says surprising me. "Candor or Dauntless?"

"Candor," I reply.

"Why do you have stretch marks?"

I expected this question to happen.

"I think you know the answer," I respond looking the small initate in the eyes. She reminds me of myself, but with less determination. "I am a mother."

All the initates look at me with curiosity, except Tobias. Of course they're curious, their scary trainer just admitted to having a child.

With that being said, Zeke and I get dressed and exit the dorm. It takes a lot of effort to stop myself from running all the way to my apartment. I'm just so excited for tonight when Ri finally gets to meet his father, well technically he won't actually get to meet him tonight since, hopefully, Ri will be asleep when Tobias arrives.

"I'm going to assume he accepted Ri Ri," Zeke says about half way to my apartment.

I can't stop the grin reappearing on my face. "Yes, I was so afraid that he wouldn't believe me. That he would think I had been with someone else."

"Tris." Zeke shakes his head at me. "I can tell just by looking at him that he loves you. Orion could belong to anyone, and he'd still take you."

I shudder at the thought of Ri belonging to anyone other than Tobias. "Maybe, but I'll never have to worry about that. Rion is one hundred percent Eaton." I laugh a little.

Zeke shakes his head again. "No, he's fifty percent Eaton and fifty percent Prior. No one is one hundred percent of one parent." He pauses a second. "Did you tell him that you gave Ri his last name?"

I look down sheepishly.

He sighs. "I'll take that as a no. Tris, you have to tell him."

"I will, as soon as I tell him about James and Emma. I want him to understand my choice before he hears it. He has to know that Marcus isn't the only family he has."

"I wouldn't even call that thing family," Zeke growls. I almost forgot that Zeke watched Tobias's fear landscape. "I'm glad he isn't my uncle through blood. I would hate to be related to that."

When I open my apartment door, I am greeted by someone with the same dark blue eyes Tobias has.

"Hi, Emma," I greet her. "What are you doing in my apartment?"

"I came to see my grand nephew," she replies flicking a strand of her long dark hair out of her face.

"And it has nothing to do with your nephew who is currently in the transfer dorm?" I ask knowing the real reason she's here. Emma has wanted to meet Tobias ever since I told her that he would be joining me.

She laughs. "Okay, you win. I was hoping that Tobias would be returning with you."

I shake my head at the older woman. "I told you and James that I will introduce you to him on visiting day. Initates aren't supposed to contact their families until then."

I see the dark skin of Zeke's mother flash past the crack in the door to Orion's room. Of course Hana is here too.

It takes every ounce of persuasion that I can muster to get both women to leave with the promise that they would both get to meet Tobias on visiting day. They've waited this long, ten more days won't hurt them.

Zeke takes Shauna back to his apartment knowing that I want to be alone with Tobias after he brings him here.

I am filled with a nervous energy as I wait for midnight to come. How will he react actually seeing his son. Will he still accept Orion once he actually sees him? Will he still accept me?
