Peter's P.O.V

Just... five... more... miniutes...

You can do this.

Come on, Peter. You can do this...

I stared at the clock angrily. Four miniutes and fifty seconds left. Fourty nine. Fourty eight.

Mr Harrington kept drawling on and on. I had already covered this subject with Dr Banner, so being taught it again, in a dull classroom with nothing else to do was torture.

I wanted to go back to the Avengers compound, to meet the king of Wakanda. He was supposed to be arriving today, and I couldn't wait. The technology in Wakanda being interesting was an understatement. I absolutely loved it.

I looked back at the clock. Four miniutes. Four, long, excruciating miniutes.

Ned nudged me slightly, snapping me out of my daze.

I looked at him, but he motioned towards Mr Harrington.

"So, this Friday, your field trip to SI will take place. Tony Stark has kindly given us this opportunity, so I expect everyone to be on thier best behaviour." Mr Harrington told us.

I felt myself getting dizzy.

Mr Stark... has organised a field trip... to Stark Industries.

Why?

The second Mr Harrington stopped speaking, a million voices filled the air.

Will the Avengers be there?

Will we meet Tony Stark?

Do you think we will be allowed in the labs?

"Hey, Penis. You have your "internship" there don't you? Oh wait, that's a lie. Can't wait till you're exposed." Flash taunted me.

"Hey, Eugene. Ever heard of the human version of a headache? Oh wait, it's you. Now get lost before I smash your face with my book." MJ interrupted.

Flash turned red at the insult and backed off, muttering angrily.

I grinned at MJ. "Thanks."

"No problem, loser." She told me.

MJ was probably the reason alot of bullies stayed away from me. She was like a bully repellent.

The bell rung, and the class got up to be dismissed.

"Mr Parker. May I have a word." Mr Harrington asked.

I looked at Ned and MJ.

"You guys go on without me. I'll see you tommorow."

They nodded and walked of.

"Mr Parker, I believe you have started a rumour about... an internship at Stark Industries." He began." Now, I know that some things are said to gain popularity, but I am hoping you will own up to the lie-"

"It's not a lie! I swear!" My blood boiled. Even he didn't believe me.

"Mr Parker! Do not interrupt me. If you don't own up to the lie after we get back from SI, I am going to have to have a chat with the principal about it."

I clenched my teeth and nodded, before walking out of the classroom, fuming.

My spider sense told me somthing was about to hit my head. I quickly moved to the left and turned around.

There stood Flash with his stupid goons.

"Can't wait to see you be humiliated, Penis. Wait till everyone sees what a liar you are." He told me.

"Shut up, Flash." I told him.

"What did you say to me, Penis?"

I stayed quiet.

He moved to punch me, but I sensed it and moved out the way, leaving him to stumble into the lockers.

I ran out the main entrance and out into the street.

"This way," I heard one of Flash's goons say.

I ran into an alleyway, hoping to loose them. Nope. Flash spotted me and followed.

I looked around for an exit.

Dead end.

Flash came up to me. "You think you're so smart, huh? You're just a stupid orphan." He punched me in the face, and I didn't move in time. He sent another blow to my nose, making me fall to my knees.

"Idiot..." he muttered, whilst walking away.

I stumbled out of the alley, hiding my face.

My nose was definitely broken, and I think I had a bruise on my face.

I checked the time. 15:47.

Oh no.

Happy was supposed to pick me up 17 miniutes ago. Mr Stark is going to kill me.

I ran as fast as I could towards the tower. I'd only need about an hour or so before I fully healed. I figured I could just avoid the Avengers until that happened.

Tony's P.O.V

I was worried sick. Happy had come to the compound looking worried and told us Pete hadn't been there to be picked up. Nat and Wanda were pacing around, worry etched on thier face.

"Woah, guys. Quit pacing or you'll burn holes in the ground." Birdbrain joked, trying to lighten the mood.

I turned to face him so quickly he flinched. "My kid is missing and you have the fricking nerve to joke around!" I yelled.

He looked down in shame. "Just trying to be positive... Wait... did you say 'my kid.'"

I turned red. Wanda let out a slight chuckle and Nat muttered a 'finally.'

Pepper walked in. "Guys, Peter is coming up the elavator."

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Thank god." Nat and Wanda looked relieved and Birdbrain grinned.

Steve had been sitting silently in the corner, taking us by surprise when he spoke up. "The question is, why did he take so long? It's ten miniutes past four."

"I'm going to ask him just that." Nat said whilst walking out the room.

Steve's P.O.V

I felt kind of scared for the kid. When Nat when spider mum mode, she was not messing around.

We followed her into the commans room and saw the kid trying to sneak into his room.
"Peter. Benjamin. Parker." Nat spoke threateningly. "Why were you so late? We were all about to march into your school to find you."

Tony had his arms crossed and was focusing on Peter. He was more or less his dad, even if he didn't admit it. "Pete, turn around." He instructed.

I noticed that the kid was trying to keep his back to us.

"I'm fine. Honestly, guys." He tried to tell us.

Wanda walked forward and her hands glowed red. Without hesitating, she used her magic to get Peter to turn around. "Hey! That's not fair!" Peter yelled.

When I saw his face, I was ready to kill. Okay, maybe not kill. Just, well, maybe teach the scoundrel who did this to him a lesson.

"I don't like bullies." I managed to say through gritted teeth.

Hey guys!
