Peter's P.O.V
"I don't like bullies." Uncle Steve said. He looked really, really angry.
"It- it wasn't b- bullies. I- err... you know... there were some robbers... They managed to get a few hits in... it's really nothing." I stuttered. Please believe it, I thought. Please.
"He's lying," Aunt Nat told everyone. Why? Why did Aunt Nat have to be so good at her job?
"Whoever did this is going to get an ass load of pain from us." Mr Stark said.
I heard someone mutter 'language.'
"Fuck your language, Steve." Uncle Clint told him. "The kids being bullied and we have a murder to arrange."
"Birdbrain's right!" Mr Stark agreed.
"No!" They all looked at me.
"Guys... please no murder. You're meant to be the good guys." I tried to reason.
"We are the good guys," Aunt Nat agreed. "Until someone hurts our baby spiderling."
I groaned. I needed to change the subject before the Avengers decided to storm the school. That's when I remembered the field trip.
"About that field trip. Mr Stark, how could you? If they see you guys acknowledging me, they'll know something's up. They'll figure out my identity, Mr Stark! Its meant to be a secret. That's why it's a secret identity." I rambled on.
"Wow, I guess I learn something new everyday." Mr Stark said sarcastically. "Besides, you're my personal intern. You can just say I introduced you guys at some point."
"Yeah, but it's not like they believe me." I replied. I was doomed.
"Why don't they believe you?" Mr Stark questioned.
Before I could answer, Bucky, who had entered the room a couple of miniutes ago spoke. "That's why they hit you, isn't it? They think your a liar."
I nodded quietly.
"Look, whoever troubling you will pay for it on the trip. In the meantime, if anything happens like this again, you have to promise to tell us." Mr Stark said.
I nodded again, unable to bring myself to speak. I didn't know how I felt.
"Oh, I just remembered. You said you wanted to meet T'challa, didn't you?" Uncle Steve reminded me.
My face lit up and Mr Stark chuckled.
"Yeah. That would be so cool! Wait. Are they here now?" I asked. I was so excited.
"Yeah. They're in the lab. T'challa is looking over new designs for the communication system. They're also creating some medical advancements for some of the hospitals in Wakanda using Tony's designs." Steve explained, as we walked down to the lab with Mr Stark.
"Of course he's using my designs. I'm brilliant." Mr Stark replied, putting on sunglasess.
"Umm... Mr Stark... we're inside..." I said, stifling a laugh. He just frowned slightly and shrugged.
Uncle Steve rolled his eyes and just sighed.
Tony's P.O.V
I was still fuming about Pete being beaten up. His nose seemed to have already healed, but his left eye still had a faint bruise next to it.
I couldn't wait to have a 'chat' with the idiot who hurt him. The doors to the lab opened, revealing T'challa looking over some of the blueprints for a new machine me and Bruce designed. Pete had helped editing some parts last weekend.
His little sister, Shuri, was checking out some weapons Bruce had made for my suit. She turned towards us.
"Ah, hello Stark. I found a flaw in this weapon. If you want, we have some Wakandan technology you can use to strengthen it." She told me in her Wakandan accent.
"Yeah, thanks Shuri." I told her.
Steve greeted her then went off to do god knows what he does in his free time.
Her eyes landed on Pete. "Is this the cinnamon roll you mentioned? The one that is the Spiderling?" She asked. Pete blushed at that and I grinned.
"Yep. That's him." I answered.
T'challa called me over to discuss the edits to the blueprints.
"Hey Pete. Me and T'challa have some work to do. I'll introduce you later. In the meantime, you can hang out with Shuri." I quickly tell them before going over to the blueprint T'challa was studying.
Peter's P.O.V
Mr Stark had to go discuss somethings with the king of Wakanda. He left me with the girl called Shuri.
I'm in the same room as Black Panther and his little sister, I thought, internally fanboying. "So... you're Shuri?" I asked, amazed.
"Yep. The one and only princess of Wakanda." Shuri replied.
"Wow... this is so cool." I breathed.
Shuri grinned. "Stark told us you have alot of skill with tus American technology." I blushed and slightly nodded.
"Aww... you are a cinnamon roll. I'm going to keep you." Shuri said, making me go red.
"No, I'm not." I muttered. She laughed.
She showed me some Wakandan technology she was helping her brother add to the blueprints. They were using Wakandan technology to upgrade some of the functions in the tower, including an even higher security pass. It was awesome.
After a while, we decided to head to the commans room. I introduced her to Uncle Clint, since they'd never met before. We were sitting on the sofa when Uncle Steve walked in.
"Hey guys, what do you want for dinner?" He asked. In the end, we agrees on McDonald's, though Uncle Clint wanted Chinese.
As Uncle Steve was leaving, Shuri spoke. "How did you defeat Captain America?"
Without even hesitating, I spoke in a German accent."We shot him in the legs because his shield is the size of a dinner plate and because he is an idiot."
Uncle Clint looked extremely confused, and Steve looked slightly hurt.
"Excuse me?" He asked, still insure if he had misheard us. Me and Shuri were on the floor, gasping for air. Between laughs, I managed to say, "Nothing... j-just a vine referance." He looked like he was about to ask what that was, but before he could, Uncle Bucky came in and asked us what was going on.
Long story short, we had a very confused Captain America and an entire hour watching vine complitians afterwards.
