Ch.Two

Esme walked into work and sighed as she saw grace and max who were arguing. She looked to them and sighed. Esmè hated it. She hated that she had been sleeping with max behind grace back.

Grace was her best friend and she knew it was wrong and she knew that she needed to put an end to it. She had to, she knew it was for the best and she knew that her mum didn't learn about it. Esmè knew that the last thing that she wanted was for Rachel to go off at her over her and max.

Esmè knew it was just sex but she couldn't do it for much longer, Esmè sighed as she walked into the staffroom. Esmè smiled as she saw Tom and smiled as she walked over to him

"are you okay?" Tom asked as Esmè looked to him and smiled

"I've been better, I'm just tried" she said as Tom smiled. He placed a hand on top of hers and smiled

"I can see maybe you should stay away from max for a bit" he said as she looked to him and frowned

"does everyone know over me and Max? Does grace know?" Esmè asked as Tom looked to her and smiled

"no, I know and no one else I can see how treats you and it's not fair on you or grace" Tom said

Esmè looked to him and nodded. "I didn't mean for this"

"I know that you didn't but max Tyler is using you and he is using grace and you'll end up hurt and so will grace and the last thing I want is for you to end up her as you are pretty damn amazing" Tom said as he placed a hand on her arm and smiled as they held a look for a moment.

He brushed a strand of hair out of her face and smiled as he looked to her as he brushed a finger across her cheek as the door opened as they pulled away from each other

Esme walked into the office and smiled as she saw max "have you come for some fun?" He asked as she looked to him and rolled her eyes as she walked over to him

"we need to end this max, it's not fair. Not on grace"

"I can handle grace and i can keep her sweet" he said as he grabbed her waist and pulled her close and kissed her. Esme tried to resist him only to end up kissing him back.

Max lifted her up photo the desk and stood between her legs as he kiss got more passionate. Esme knew it was wrong but she had no idea just how much he was using her to get to Rachel

Esme walked into the staffroom and smiled to herself as she saw grace as she sat in the corner. Esme felt bad, she knew that she was going through and esme hated it. She hated how guilty that she felt

"are you okay?" Esme asked grace who looked to her and shock her head

"I don't know what to do" she said as esme frowned "what do you mean?"

"Max, I think he is cheating on me and I just can't cope with it" grace said

"it's going to be okay, I promise" esme said knowing that she couldn't keep doing it much longer. She couldn't ask as if she was okay when she felt nothing but guilt and anger towards herself

Esme sighed to herself as she walked onto the pub. She ordered herself a glass of wine and smiled as she walked over and sat next to Tom

"what am I meant to do Tom. He won't take no for an answer I did try and end it but I just don't know what to do"

"maybe you need to find someone else to distract you and to move on" he said as she looked to him and smirked as she turned to face him

"are you talking about yourself?" She asked as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"maybe" he said as they held a look for a moment before he leant in and kissed her before she started to kiss him back passionately but could esme move on and resist max and be with Tom?
