As they began to fall asleep, Eliza realized that she hadn't told anyone that she was dating Maria yet.
"Maria," she murmured.
"Hmm?"
"When are we, you know, going to come out? As girlfriends?" Eliza asked.
"Everyone already knows that I'm bi," Maria said. "But I've always dated guys before, so..."
"The sooner the better-"
"But your dad-"
"I know but-"
"We can't just keep hiding-"
"Can't be a secret-"
"It can't be a secret," Maria finished. "We've got to tell everyone tomorrow."
"Tomorrow, then," Eliza agreed. "We'll tell everyone tomorrow."
But her mind was heavy. What would her father say?
