The fog that surrounded Cerah cleared, and she found herself in a vast, beautiful garden with an enormous clock tower in the middle.
Everything that had happened in her previous dream came rushing back to her as she tried to process what she was doing here.
"Yeah right the clue, 'the seed is the centre of the fruit' " she said to herself as she began searching the garden for a red, velvet cloth which would most likely contain the next hint.
Honestly, she couldn't have a more peaceful dream? She thought to herself.
Cerah found herself wishing John hadn't suggested they part ways and search. At least she'd have someone to talk to.
Cerah was about to yell out in frustration when someone beat her to it. "Honestly! I couldn't have a more peaceful dream!?"
Cerah didn't have to turn around to know that the voice belonged to John. She turned around anyway to find John sitting on the grass, his hands clasped around his knees.
"Well, at least you're dreaming of two good looking girls," said Cerah walking over to sit beside him.
"Yeah right, how could I forget the best part?" Said John with a smirk.
"You shouldn't because we don't have the same privilege."
"What? You wanna dream about two good looking girls too?" Asked John with arched up eyebrows.
"No, but I wouldn't say no to two sizzling hot boys."
"Well, considering you're dreaming of me, who's equal to a hundred hot-as-the-sun boys, I don't see why you're complaining."
"Cocky much?"
"Confidence would be the word."
"So, what's your real name Ria?" Tried John.
Cerah tried to open her mouth to answer, but just like before her lips refused to part. She shook her head and said, "apparently TMI."
"It was worth a try." Shrugged John.
"So, any progress on the hint?" Asked Cerah as John stretched out his legs in front of him, resting his palms on the grass behind him.
"Well, I found a suspicious statue of a beautiful little girl playing soccer." Said John with a slight frown.
"What's suspicious about that?"
"I don't know... it's just, I didn't think this dream was from a period when people played soccer...?"
"Huh, that makes sense." Said Cerah frowning.
John got up, dusted off his pants, and held a hand out to Cerah, "I'll show you where the statue is C'mon. Maybe you'll find something I didn't."
Cerah took his hand and got up, and John led the way.
------
"What are you laughing at the statue for?"
Seeing John's perplexed expression made Cerah laugh harder. When she finally regained control over herself, she told him, "that girl is not playing soccer, she's dancing."
"What!? Who dances like that?" Asked John mimicking the statue's posture, his arms in the air, and one leg up. Cerah rolled her eyes and did a small, fluid dance move that included the statue's posture as a step, to prove that the girl was dancing.
When Cerah ended graciously, with a fake-bow, John said, "trying to win me over with your dance skills Ria? I must say it's not entirely ineffective."
"Are you telling me you didn't get the point?" Asked Cerah arching up her brow.
"I did," chuckled John, "but I still think this girl's hiding something," he said, narrowing his eyes at the statue, as though threatening the girl to speak up.
"Hey! What're you glaring at the beautiful, little lady for?" Asked Cerah elbowing him.
"Ouch, that hurts woman," said John moving away from her, clutching the side of his stomach.
"That was the point you see," winked Cerah, "where's Angel, by the way?"
"She's the only one actually looking for the hint I guess," chuckled John, looking Cerah in the eye.
Something about his eyes seemed familiar, it seemed to draw her to him.
Just then, the giant clock in the middle chimed, and Cerah tore her gaze away from his, chiding herself. That's when a thought struck her.
Clock in the middle? Middle of the garden?
But before Cerah could complete her train of thought the familiar sensation of being pulled from behind took over and fog surrounded her.
