Chapter 12

Trollex got out of the water and came on land and fell on the grass. He laid there for probably 2 minutes

He quickly jolted up

"Right, Poppy. I have to tell her that she shouldn't be judge just by who she's related to." He said to himself

He quickly went to Pop Village to talk to Poppy

Trollex passed by a frog then quickly went back to it

"Oh hey little fella! You friendly?" He asked poking its back

The frog jumped at Trollex

"AHHHHH NOT FRIENDLY!!!" He shouted

Trollex wiped leaves off his face and continued to head to Pop Village

"Who knew beyond the cave was dangerous?" He told himself

"That frog was so mean." He whined

Back at Pop Village, Poppy was staring at her stuffed turtle that Barb had made for her

Maybe everyone back there was right. Maybe she was like her dad

But if she was, why did she suddenly hate him. After everything he had done to her friends she had the right

"Poppy! You're back!" She heard someone say

She turned her head and saw Peppy

"AHHH DAD!!"

She put the turtle in her hair

"Hi!" She waved

"Where have you been?" He asked

"Uhh..."

She didn't know how to answer

She couldn't tell her dad about her friends. He would kill them

"I was just wandering the woods for a few days! No biggie." She smiled

"Oh, well in that case you're getting married in two days!" He smiled

"Yeah wandering the woods is fun- WAIT WHAT?!!" She asked surprised

"Yup! To that good boy Creek." He said

"What?! Why?!" She asked

"Well I just think Creek would be better for you." He said

"Dad! Creek treats women like crap!" Poppy told him

"No he doesn't." Peppy smiled

"Yes he does!" Poppy said

She immediately wanted to leave again

"Well I cant do anything about it Poppy, since you're lying to me." He said
