Friends- Jasmine Thompson
Chapter 11
Amanda's POV
There's school now. And yeah it sucks...big time.
I take a bath first then brush and do my morning routine. We have a short break since my classmate, Lucy, died because of Pneumonia. So we had to 'mourn' over her death and have a one week break.
Which is totally awesome! Amen, Lucy.
I step out my bathroom, walking lazily towards my closet. I open it and get a simple light blue blouse and a jeans. I don't really have a guy who I need to impress. So no need to worry.
I grab my Converse black shoes and rush downstairs. I am surprised by my parents and Nash seated together beside the table. We never really do these things.
"Amanda's here! Let's eat." Mom exclaims. It's really weird. Nash rolls his eyes making me laugh.
I sit down the wooden chair. Dad starts praying and we all listen, after, we say 'amen'.
"So? Do you have any boyfriends?" Dad says and I choke my food, coughing continuously. My mom hands me a pitcher of water and I gladly accept it.
"Of course not."
"Good. I don't want that Trevor thing happening again." He mutters, his voice soft but yet clear. I nod and continue eating my pasta.
We talk about things while eating. Mom and Dad are leaving this weekend. So we have at least 5 days to make their visit good.
I grab a granola bar, incase I get hungry. I'm riding with Nash in our car. It's our car but he always uses it. Like always.
We arrive on time in my school. It looks normal and nothing really changed. He drops me off and I walk out.
The students are now with their cliques. Emos, Jocks, Populars, Youtuber wannabes, fangirls, loners, sluts, whores, name it all. We have been separated. Because if we ever ignite...
It's world war 3.
I step to the grass, going to the main door of the school, following the brown path. Jenny is going to be absent today since she's having a family outing with her family. Making me alone.
I'm not the popular type nor the loner type. I'm average. Well, half loner, half popular.
I walk towards my locker, as students fill the place. I grab the books I needed and close my locker right afterwards. Students start to step back and gather, forming a circle.
I go near the circle, and the students starts to chant 'Fight!'. I struggle to see because the student's heads are blocking the way.
I have a little glimpse of it. All I see was a guy punching another guy.
"You lil fucker!" A deep voice says, his british accent standing out and I hear punches and groans. I really need to see this.
I push all the people aside, trying to see what's the commotion all about. And everything seems clear. Harry's hands punching on some random guy with blond-ish hair.
Harry Woods is a jock. I know, its cliche since Jocks are always bad. Not all but most. And not to mention, he's popular.
Nobody really have the urge to stop them. Even the principle is scared of him since his family is freaking rich. They donated almost every part of this school.
I look at the students still chanting and nobody really dared to stop them.
"Stop!" The words slip through my mouth and students stare at me, as well as Harry. He smirks and push the boy to the lockers. He walk towards me still smirking. I gulp the lump on my throat until his face are few inches in mine.
