"Here your salary for this month" Madam Yi gave Bao Yu the salary packet. Bao Yu received it and thanked her.

"This time also are you planning to give everything to Mr.Ning?" Madam Yi asked her.

Madam Yi know everything about Bao Yu. One day she said to Bao Yu that Papa Ning came here and asked her to take care of Bao Yu.

Bao Yu was burst into tears when she told Madam Yi about her situation. That time Bao Yu couldn't be able to control her own emotions and just told Madam Yi how she forgotten everything about her past and appeared in front of Papa Ning and Papa Qing's house. Of course, Bao Yu exclude about her transmigration story.

Even if Bao Yu tell Madam Yi about that her reason she doesn't know whether Madam Yi will believe her or not.

"Yes, I am happy that I can be useful to him in some way" Bao Yu smiled at Madam Yi.

"Bao Yu, do you think Mr.Ning will be happy by getting the money from you? I'm sure you know that very well how much he cares about you" Madam Yi patted her head.

Bao Yu nodded her head but she afraid to tell Madam Yi that she was scared what if he abandoned her. What if he thinks Bao Yu as a burden?

"It's alright if you know that. It is getting late, you can leave now. Be careful on your way"

Bao Yu thanked her once again and left the restaurant.

It was past nine when she left. Usually Bao Yu will leave the restaurant by eight but the next day Gao Lin had his exam so Madam Yi asked to him prepare for that instead of coming to work. So Bao Yu helped her in his place.

If Yi Chen was here, he would have walked Bao Yu home. But he currently he went to another city to participate in the martial arts competition.

Even though it's only past nine there was no single person in the street. If it's 2021, Bao Yu was sure people will stay out till ten or eleven.

Bao Yu was walking alone in the empty street," Thank god streetlights were still on, if it's not I would have scared to death". She said to herself while walking nervously.

Meanwhile Ning Xuan got worried that BaoYu did not came home, "Why hasn't she come yet?"

"Don't worry about her. Didn't you see she got a new friend? Maybe she's hanging out with him" Bai Ling said to her as he munched his chips.

"Hey, do you think Yi Chen is her boyfriend?" Ning Xuan nudged Bai Ling.

"What? Boyfriend? She is only sixteen. How can she get boyfriend?" Bai Ling snapped at her.

"What's wrong with that? Even I'm planning to get a boyfriend for myself" Ning Xuan shouted at his face.

Qing Ze head locked her, "You're not allowed to get a boyfriend until you turn twenty-five"

Ning Xuan gasped, "Hey how can you say that? What if I didn't get boyfriend even after twenty-five, then who will marry me?"

"I will marry you"

Bai Ling choked on chips and started to cough hard. Ning Xuan eyes almost came out from her eyes, "Hey Qing Ze, don't scare me like that"

Qing Ze stood up, "Aren't you going to check on Bao Yu?"

"Yes, yes. Let's go" Ning Xuan ran out. Qing Ze patted Bai Ling's back who was still coughing from the shock.

"Please don't scare me. I want to live" Bai Ling said in between his coughs. "Enough of your drama" Qing Ze smacked him and went out.

"He caught me" BaiLing rubbed his back and followed them.

Bao Yu was holding onto her bag like it was her life savior. 'How could be there's no person in the street? Did everyone vacate the town and left?'

Bao Yu felt someone was following her so she quickened her steps. Bao Yu almost saw the main road, if she reaches there, she was sure lots of people will be there.

Suddenly someone caught her shoulder, Bao Yu screamed but her mouth quickly covered by someone.

"If you shout, I'll beat you to death"

Bao Yu's eyes widened to see the person in front of her. It was that fat guy and his two other lackeys with whom Bao Yu and Yi Chen fought the other day.

"You have the guts to offended us" he punched Bao Yu on her stomach. It was so painful that she fell on the ground clutching her stomach.

"Oh, why are you being like this? Why are you not playing a hero this time?" He kicked her again.

"Hey Zhang An, she is a girl. Is it okay to hit her?" One of his lackeys asked the fat guy.

"Didn't you also present two weeks ago when she and her friend beat us? She was the one who started it" Zhang An grabbed Bao Yu's face and slapped her.

Bao Yu felt awful than ever. Never in her life she thought that she would've transmigrated and get bullied on the road by the kids.

Next his gaze fell on her bag. He grabbed it from Bao Yu and poured the things out from her bag.

Zhang An took the salary packet in his hand and opened to see. Once he saw the money in it he laughed aloud, "Hey look we hit some jackpot. At least she has some money with her"

Bao Yu's eyes shot open when he said that. Bao Yu quickly snatched it from him, "N-No you can't take it from me"

"You have the guts to take it back" He tried to take it from Bao Yu but she gripped it tightly.

Zhang An slapped her again and again. But Bao Yu never did let go of the packet.

His lackeys were started to worry about her getting beaten like this. One of the guys said, "If you don't want to die give this to him"

Bao Yu shook her head and took all the beatings.

At that time Ning Xuan, Qing Ze and Bai Ling saw from far that few kids were beating someone. So, they ran to save the person, but they stopped in tracks when they heard them speaking.

Zhang An kicked her hard and took the money from Bao Yu. "Is this money being worth than your life that you're willing to get beating?" This time Zhang An was shocked that this girl was holding the money like it was everything to her.

"Yes, It's my last hope. If I lost it, I am scared I will be abandoned. I am scared to be hated by them. All I want them to acknowledge me not to hate me. I'm also want to be loved, I also needed family to be happy. Just what crime I had committed that I have to be punished like this? Why can't I be myself? All I want is to live a normal life like you all but why I am here alone? Where is my family? Why are they not here? I am scared that I will be left alone. Please do not take this away from me, if you do, I'm afraid that I can't breathe anymore" Bao Yu screamed at the top of my lungs crying my heart out.

Suddenly a guy came and kicked Zhang An. Somewhat Bao Yu felt relieved that someone came to save her. Bao Yu's eyelids become heavy and she lost her consciousness.
