Chapter 3

I was sitting in the living room with two police officers.

Today morning QingZe's father brought them to Papa Ning's  house to gather some information from me.

I told them that I don't remember anything. When I regained my consciousness I was already lying in the room.

"I sent your photo to all the police stations. Currently we are checking whether we got any missing complaints" Papa Qing, QingZe's father said to me. I nod my head without saying anything.

"Little girl, don't worry. We will find your parents as soon as possible" He patted my head.

"Until then where will she stay?" BaiLing came out of the room. I'm sure these three were eavesdropping from the other side.

"She will stay here" Papa Ning said to him.

BaiLing face fumed in anger, "Papa, what do thing you're doing? Are you collecting abandoned kids from the street? Am I not enough? Now you want to add another one? Is this house for abandoned children?" BaiLing outburst startled everyone in the room.

Papa Ning gave a smack on BaiLing's back, "How many times do I have to tell you that you were not abandoned? Stop spouting nonsense"

Before BaiLing can say anything QingZe covered his mouth, "Dad, tried to find her parents as soon as possible. As Papa Ning said she can stay here"

BaiLing turned and glared at QingZe trying to release from his hard grip.

"Okay. Everything is settled. I can share my room with her. No problem for me" NingXuan jumped in front of everyone also earned a death glare from BaiLing.

Seeing that QingZe heart melted. The girl he met in his younger days was gentle even when she grown up.

"Now what can we call you?" Papa Qing looked at me. Are they going to name me?

"I want to name her. I want to name her" again NingXuan started to jump from up and down.

"You want to name her?" Papa Ning asked her. "Yes, I will name her" NingXuan held on to her father's leg and shouted. I was taken back from the scenery. I did that exactly when I was eighteen with my father. I can feel how others could have thought about me when I did that.

"Okay, Okay. Now get up" Papa Ning helped her to get up.

"It's just a name. Why are you getting excited? Just name her as Bao" BaiLing said as he looked at the steaming bun on the table.

"Bao means precious and rare. It's really a nice name" Papa Qing patted his head.

BaiLing wants to tell him that he didn't mean it that way. Before he could open his mouth NingXuan punched his stomach, "I already told that I wants to name her. Why did you interrupt me"

BaiLing fell on the floor clutching his stomach. QingZe startled to giggle by seeing BaiLing on the floor. He turned to NingXuan, "You can add another name to Bao"

NingXuan eyes brighten up when she heard that, "Yu. Let's call her BaoYu"

I really don't understand the meaning behind the name I was just staring them blindly.

"My daughter is a genius. You have given her a beautiful name. BaoYu means 'precious jade'. I'm proud of you" Papa Ning hugged his daughter. Then his gaze fell on BaiLing, "You too have a great taste"

"Yeah, I have great taste. I meant to say Bao the bu-" QingZe quickly covered his mouth, "Everything is settled. We got her a name. Until she can find her a real family she can stay here"

"BaoYu. Do you like the name?" NingXuan came to me. I nodded my head. "Great. If you don't like Bao no problem I'll call you Yu" NingXuan showed her gummy smile. I glanced at BaiLing who was glaring at me.

Oh god! What should I do?

A week passed, but still there was no report regarding me. I had a tiny hope maybe my real parents could have been living somewhere here in this country. But I guess I was wrong.

We were having a dinner. "BaoYu, still you didn't got your memories back" Papa Qing asked me. I shook my head. I was feeling sorry for making him to investigate about even though I know the result.

"We tried our best but we couldn't able to find any information" I can see sadness in his eyes.

"It's okay, Uncle. I know how hard you were trying to help me" I replied to him.

"Now what are we gonna do? Don't tell me you're planning to raise her? Are you loaded with money" BaiLing asked Papa Ning.

Uncle Ning felt uncomfortable when BaiLing asked this question. I know it must be hard for him to decide.

After living here for the past one week I got to know that QingZe mother was abandoned him at his young age and he was under the care of Papa Ning. Because his father Papa Qing, was always busy with his work..

BaiLing was also abandoned by his parents at the young age. So Papa Ning took him to his house and raising him as his own son.

NingXuan mother died when NingXuan was only five years old.

NingXuan, QingZe, BaiLing were grew up together. There bonding was stronger than anything in the world. The three of them studying in the same class as well.

Papa Ning runs a small restaurant. He was using that income to raise BailIng and NingXuan. If he added me into his house his burden will be doubled. I bit my lips, "Papa Qing, can you send me to the orphanage"

BANG

I jumped when Papa Ning banged the table, "Why did you have to go the orphanage? You're not going anywhere. You're staying here with us. That's my final decision"
