A week later. Quite contrary to the boy's predictions, Oikawa seemed unaffected with the break up. Ume was too happy over Ushiwaka kun's change of mindset to care. She too carried on with her day untroubled.

School had finished once again. Ume was holding on to the door frame to fix her folded up socks when Oikawa came and suddenly stopped before her.

"Ne~Nakamura, guess who called me just now?" He said waving his cellphone in front of her. "Fucking Ushiwaka chan of all people." He smiled.

His expression took a sudden hundred and eighty degree turn.  A deep cold voice came out.

"Get moving. We are in serious trouble." He turned about and began walking with his god darn long legs. Albeit confused, Ume followed behind him.

Both of them had to reach the train station first where Ushiwaka was going to meet them.

When they arrived there, Ushiwaka first ushered them inside the train that was just about to leave. Ushiwaka sat opposite the two of them, his back ramrod straight. Oikawa had slid down his seat a bit and had the aisle blocked with his long crossed legs. Thankfully the compartment was almost empty in the afternoon or he'd have gotten so many looks.

Ume's eyes were darting back and forth between them. They were going to Shiratorizawa. That thought was making her extremely uncomfortable. New place, strange people. And she had no idea what had happened.

Ushiwaka had at last seemed to notice her fidgety figure. Over the noise of rail tracks, he began to explain what had gotten them into this predicament.

So apparently, their own sweet Sumire chan was found lying unconscious in the dorms with a bottle of sleeping pills beside her. She also wrote a letter for the dramatic effect. The letter had all the facts twisted up in the most absurd ways.

It told a story of how she had come to school full of aspirations. How she had fallen in love with the school's ace. How he had been snagged away right before her eyes by a girl called Nakamura. Then how Oikawa had confessed to her and in her heartbreak she had accepted him. But later he dumped her on the pretext of not being good enough.

How she went to school everyday distressed and anxiety ridden. How she cried herself to sleep.

How she'd felt unwanted and unloved all this time and she wanted to do nothing more with this world anymore. She wrote that she wanted to be free from watching others have a nice love life and pitying herself.

Ushiwaka mentioned that her friends wanted to take the letter straight to her father but the dorm matron had intervened. The matron was the one who bought the matter before the disciplinary committee. They had decided to hold a meeting and had called for all the parties concerned. Ushiwaka himself was at home when he had gotten Tendou's call.

"So what? We are being pulled into trouble just because her letter claims us having a better lovelife than she does? Where is she anyway? I really want to beat her up." Ume seethed.

"A suicide is considered no small matter." Ushiwaka explained. "A disciplinary committee will sit for a hearing. And since we are the subjects of the letter, we have to be present during the procedure. Besides Nakamura san, shouldn't you be asking if she is alright instead of beating her up?" Ushiwaka asked with his eyebrows raised.

"Hah! As if a girl as fake as her couldn't try a pretend suicide." Oikawa gave a dry laugh. Ume and Ushiwaka turned their heads to him in surprise. Oikawa looked at Ume in the eye.

"Don't act like you don't know she's perfectly alright. She's such a fake, a pretend suicide is completely within her realm of possibility. Only a complete moron could hold any affection for that toxic girl." He smiled mockingly at Ushijima.
