Seijoh was a private highschool. Their auditoriums were huge. The school boasted three gymnasiums, a soccer field, a baseball field and the like. The premises were big enough that the buildings had to be separated into different wings.

Now the huge campus also provided students with many empty classrooms and isolated areas to have private rendezvous. Ume was walking happily to one of such classrooms as she led the girls following behind her.

She opened the door to one room and sidestepped. Inviting the girls to go in first. The girls strutted inside and Ume followed closing the door behind her.

"So senpai? What is it you wanted to talk about?" Ume asked politely.

"We noticed Oikawa took you somewhere after school a few days ago. He was also seen waiting for you at the gates the next day. You seem to have grown close over the span of just two days." She sneered.

"What of it Senpai?" Ume asked innocently.

"We want you to know that you need to stay away from Oikawa. He doesn't need a girlfriend right now. His previous relationship already caused many difficulties for the volleyball team. We don't need him distracted. Believe us." She ordered.

"We are on the girl's volleyball team. Although there's no hope for us, we need the boys to absolutely win this season. So Oikawa needs to stay focused." The other tall girl supplied.

"For that to happen, you will stay away from Oikawa. You understand?" She rumbled loudly.

Ume dipped her head down. The anger bubbling inside her over the past few weeks was surging to the surface. Her breathing quickened.

Her dad decided to start a relationship, she had to deal with her mother's emotional fits. Her mother decided that her brother was rebellious, she had to stay in that lonely house for years. Sumire decided to play victim, she was dragged into a disciplinary hearing.

It was always other people who decided things. They made decisions and some way or the other it affected her life. Why did she have to bear the brunt of their choices? What had she done wrong?

She looked up at the three girls. How dare they try to make decisions on who she stayed close to? How dare they interfere in her life? Something inside her snapped. Angry tears welled up in her eyes. Without thinking, she landed her first punch.

And then another and then one more. She punched and kicked and growled. She was infuriated. The older girls were fear stricken at the attacks that came their way. She was obviously a much smaller girl than them. But it seemed like her punches were driven by a force other worldly.

Her usually bored eyes were wide open...ablaze with fury. She looked livid. They barely had time to gather themselves. But by then enough damage had been done already.

One by one they fell. They lie groaning on the floor but the girl was still not done. She kept hitting and hitting and hitting. She was shouting.

"HOW DARE YOU DECIDE THINGS FOR ME HUH? WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO? INSTEAD OF ABUSING YOUR RIGHTS AS SENIORS WHY NOT TRY TO IMPROVE YOUR VOLLEYBALL? YOU DUMBASSES! YOU MORONS!"

She heaved. They weren't even making pained sounds anymore. She wiped of sweat from her forehead. She tried to ease her breathing. She tried to calm down. Such behaviour was unbecoming, she reiterated to herself.

She was returning to normal. She took out her handkerchief and dried her teary eyes. She smoothed her uniform and glanced at the beaten up seniors. She was irritated with herself. She lost composure. Again.

"You shouldn't step on a cat's tail. " She advised. "Especially when the cat has lots of bottled up anger." The seniors moaned in pain as answer.

"Wait, I'll get you to the infirmary." Ume quickly stepped out of the room.

Only she was stopped by the hulking figure of Takahashi blocking her way with his usual angry expression. She peeked behind him to see Harada and Ito kun leaning on the opposite wall side by side.

"Good you guys are here. I needed help to take those people to the infirmary." She turned about and returned into the room. The boys followed behind her. They all managed to get the girls up and heaved them downstairs.

"How did you find me anyways?" Ume asked midway.

"Sato san came to get Ito kun, telling him that you were taken away by three shady looking seniors." Harada replied. The girl he was dragging along made a noise of protest.

"Shut up."

"We didn't need to intervene though." Ito kun chuckled." When we reached outside. We already heard lots of screeches and shrieks coming from inside. We thought it was better to let the girls resolve the fight for themselves."

"It could have been me screaming too though." Ume piped.

"Have you ever heard Sato san beat up people?" Harada asked excitedly. "I did! Just last week a girl claimed to steal Ito kun from her and you should have seen her state after Sato san was done with her." Harada looked grim. Takahashi grunted in agreement.

"It sounded same as when Sato san was beating that girl up. Besides you were lecturing them in middle of the fight. It wasn't difficult to figure out who had the upper hand." Harada shrugged.

"Yeah...I lost control there for a while. " Ume admitted sheepishly. "I don't always rage like this. But when I loose composure I behave like such an uncivilized person." She shook her head at herself.

"Oh god, I remember that one time in middle school !" Ito kun laughed throwing his head back.

"Shut it Ito."
