"So when you look into your soulmate's eyes, you'd see your future together?"
Yena tapped her feet excitedly on the floor, covering half of her blushing face.
"That's exactly what happened earlier! I'm so glad you made me go to the convenience store!" Your younger sister squealed, instantly standing up making you jerk up.
You held your chest and looked at her in shock, watching your sister giddily walking towards her soulmate and dragging him in front of you.
"(Y/n), this is Jeno! Jeno this is my older sister."
The boy shyly rubbed his nape and hesitantly extended his hand for you to shake. You raised your brows and completely ignored his hand.
"I'm heading to the convenience store since you didn't even get what I asked you to buy." You stood up, grabbed your coat and head out without a single glance at Yena's soulmate.
"Don't worry! She'll warm up to you once she got to know you better."
You walk with bitter eyes on the road, wearing your coat and shoving your hands down your pockets.
"I can't believe Yena found her soulmate already." You muttered, pushing the glass doors open, the bell chirping.
You headed to an aisle and grabbed a pack of ramen, going straight to the counter to lay it down.
The cashier took it and scanned the package. You fiddled to get your wallet out, picking a 250 won. You laid it down and the cashier took it to tuck in the drawer.
"Do you have five won, miss?" He asked, but you shook your head. Eyes staring at the open and away from the him.
He hurriedly went out of the counter to get your change, but he bumped his shoulder against yours.
You grunted, raising your head, but his eyes caught you off-guard.
And finally, your gazes locked.
"I love you, (y/n)." His fingers caressed your cheek, wiping a stray tear.
"Which one do you prefer?" Both of you stood in front of an ice cream shop, snapping back to when he would wipe some off your lips.
"Who is she?" You whispered, watching his fingers dance on the keys of a piano.
"How did that feel?" He chuckled softly, showing his gummy smile.
"DOYOUNG!" You screamed in the rain, kneeling on the wet and rough road, a sharp pain striking your chest.
Faint car lights blurred your eyes making you snap back to reality.
The sight of the future ended, and you now noticed his sharp brown eyes widely staring back at you.
