You stand in your toes and stretched your arms to hang the mistletoe. You looked at Taeyong who was reading on the couch in front of the furnace.

"Taeyong!" You called, earning a glance from your boyfriend who was on leave due to the relapsed herniated disk in his lower back.

You stood under the mistletoe and closed your eyes, waiting for him to kiss you.

He sat still and skimmed the back cover of the book. "That's pretty. Good Job."

Your brows narrowed as he flipped the book to the next page, not even sparing you a glance.

"Taeyong."

He noticed you, peering back with a puzzled look. You were staring at him for 5 minutes straight and he was beginning to melt.

"I don't understand why you're standing under a pile of leaves." He admitted.

Your shoulders slumped as you pointed at the mistletoe.

"This, Taeyong, is a mistletoe." You started. He tilted his head, staying completely clueless.

"You're suppose to kiss me under it." Your voice faded into thin air as embarrassment washed over you.

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Nothing." You walked to your desk and continued knitting a sweater for Taeyong.

Taeyong brought out his phone and searched for the purpose of mistletoes. Red tainted his ears as he continued to read about the object. He took in a long drag of air, shutting his book and going to your desk.

You peeked at his face, heart warming to see his eyes. He genuinely smiled at you and grasped your hand, guiding you under the mistletoe.

Your cheeks heated as he gazed down at your face. "There's stars in your eyes, (y/n)."

A trail of giggles bubbled at the back of your throat, looking at Taeyong with a wide grin. He cupped your jaw and attached his warm lips on yours.
