"hey anne, i need you both to come with me inside the house" dan says calmly as anne and jay follow dan into the house and go into dans office and sit down
"what is going on" jay says with worry and concern
"umm" dan says as he takes a deep breath as he hears the doorbell ring "dont move i will be back" and dan gets up and walks to the door and opens it and lets the person in as they go to the office and walk in and jay and anne just stare in disbelief
"what the hell is going on" anne yells out
"umm mrs deakin i an officer moon" the officer says
"what are you doing here what is going on" jay says as she starts to cry as anne holds her and starts to cry
"there has been an accident and your son was hit by a drunk driver" the officer says as jay lets out a scream as she starts to cry
"jay honey i need you to take a deep breathe please" dan says as he hugs jay who was now on the floor crying inconsolably
"is he.... is.... is my is my son alive" jay says not wanting to know the answer
"yes but he is in critical condition and if you want i can drive you to the hospital" the officer says
"please i need to get to my son please i have to get to him he needs me" jay cries out
"dan can i go with jay please" anne says
"of course i will stay with the kids and see you all in the morning, i will let lottie and fizzy know" dan says
"what about the other driver" dan asks
"umm she didnt make it" the officer says
"she" jay questions
"yes it was a female driver and she ran a red light she passed out while driving and hit the gas as she ran the red light and hit louis on the passanger side of the car she wasnt wearing her seatbelt and she died" the officer says as jays stands up and anne and jay and the officer walk out of the house and go to the hospital and as they walk in the officer talks to the nurses and soon a doctor walk to them
"mrs tomlinson" the doctor says
"deakin mrs deakin" jay says
"i apologize mrs deakin " the doctor says
"its ok um this is anne twist she is louis mother in law" jay says
"nice to meet you under these unfortunate circumstances" the doctor says
"how is my son" jay says as she starts to cry
"he is resting we had to put him in a coma we are doing all we can do for him he has a broken leg arm and scrapes and bruises he is swollen because of his injuries and some internal bleeding but got to everything on time and dont worry the baby is fine"
"baby" jay and anne question confused
"my son wasnt pregnant he had a baby about 9 months ago" jay says confused
"im sorry but he is 6 months pregnant from what the ob/gyn specialist told me" the doctor says
"can we go see him please" anne says crying and in shock as they follow the doctor and walk into louis room "how long is he going to be in a coma for"
"at this point i dont know its up to him to wake up but since he is 6 months pregnant we cant do much for him until the pediatric doctor says its ok for us to deliver the baby to give her a fighting chance" the doctor says
"her" anne questions
"yes its a girl" the doctor says
"um thank you" jay says as she lays down next to louis "my perfect baby boy, please son dont leave me we all need you, i need you so much"
