the sun began to set, and dream and george had been walking for hours. they passed another town, and decided to settle behind a walmart for the night.

-

"dream were honestly so bad at this." george sat on the street, criss cross.

"yeah i know." dream sat on the curb next to george, his legs straight in front of him.

george wanted to bring up what happened earlier that day, but his heart jumped every time he thought about it. he turned to look at dream.

you really missed your chance to kiss him. he'll never go for it again.

dream was staring at the ground, and george could see his wheels turning.

"what are you thinking about?"

dream broke his stare with the ground and locked eyes with george. "im really sorry about what happened today," he looked at the ground again. "i guess i just thought you liked me like that."

georges heart cracked. this whole situation took such an emotional toll on him, not including his stress levels rising every time he thought about trying to figure out how to get 30,000 miles home by foot.

"i do."

dream turned, and to his surprise, george was looking straight at him with sad eyes.

"i do like you like that."

george scooted in front of him, and cradled dreams face with his hands.

he leaned in and kissed dream.

dream was astonished, and his heart fluttered. he closed his eyes and leaned in more on him.

georges stomach flipped over when dream slid his hands onto his waist and pulled him closer.

he moved his hands into dreams hair, and subconsciously crawled on dreams lap and wrapped his legs around clays waist without breaking the kiss.

dream moved his hands down slowly onto georges hips. he pulled away for a second "is this okay?"

"yeah." george reconnected his lips to dreams. he didnt want to stop kissing him, ever.

oh my god.

dream never expected george to initiate the kiss, let alone enjoy it.

the feeling of the lips george had been wanting to kiss for so long were so soft, and this moment was everything he wanted.

-

after about 6 minutes, dream pulled away.

"we should.. uh.. we should sleep."

george admired dreams lips that were now more of a scarlet color, still sitting in his lap.

theres no way i made his lips that red...

dream watched george stare at him in awe, bit his lip, and saw george start blushing furiously, even only being able to see with the street light behind him glowing in the black night.

"dont test me, dream." george smiled, still staring at his lips.

"or what?" he smirked, and curled his toes in his shoes.

george looked up at dreams green eyes. he rolled his eyes and scoffed. "my god, just be a top for once."

dream looked offended, but had a smile on his face and a competitive look in his eyes. georges expression changed.

"okay, i take that back-"

"yeah you better." dream lifted george off his lap, and disappointment flooded over georges face.
