Brianna's P.O.V.

I'm laying on the couch with Carter and Angel. Angel has been fallen alseep. She was tired and really didn't like the movie that much.

"Carter you know my dad is leaving rehab soon."

"Yeah, what about it?" He asked me going through his phone

"When he gets out I'ma find us a place to live amd move back in with him."

"You wanna move back withcha dad?"

"Why not? I miss him, and I lived with him before I moved in with you."

"I don't want you to go Brianna." Carter whinned

He gave me his puppy dog face

"Pleassee Brianna. I wanna wake up every morning to ya beautiful face."

"Alright Carter...I guess I have to leave my dads house at some time."

"That's my baby." Carter said "Don't worry bout ya dads place. I'll put somethin' together, and find him some work."

"Thank you Carter." I said pecking him on his lip

"You know I don't like that half ass shit."

I went back and gave Carter a proper kiss on the lips.

"Babe you know that prom is in two weeks."

"Yeah, why?" I asked Carter

"You wanna go to prom or you feel like doing something else?"

I honestly don't know if I want to go to prom. All them fake ass mother fuckers who bullied me since middle school will be there.

But you only have one prom, its my last year of high school. I'm going to make the most of it.

"Yeah I wanna go, but I need a dress."

"Custom made or you just wanna buy it?" Carter asked me

"Is there enough time to.make a dress?" I asked him

"Yeah big mama used to be a seamstress, she can make one in a week."

"Okay then."

Five Days Later

"Ow!" I said as I got poked with a needle

"Lil gurl keep yo chocolate drop ass still!" Big mama yelled

"Yes ma'am." I mumbled

She is so mean when it comes to dress making, but this dress is bomb! It's almost finished

"You welcome Chili. Remember your coming here to get ready with Scarlett and Lour. We don't need Carter to see the dress before prom."

I slipped the dress of and handed it to big Mama. I was wearing a tank and some shorts under it.

I slipped on my jean jacket and sandels.

"I have to get going Big mama. My dad gets out today."

"Okay child, tell ya daddy I said hi."

"Will do Big Mama."

I left her house and got into my car. I stopped by the gocery store on the way home. I'm going to make my daddy I good ass dinner.
