Four Another Way

Years Below

Years has passed since a new home was found. Children grew and learned as personalities formed. 

It was late into the afternoon as the light blue skies began to bleed into a golden orange edge. The large glass dome soaked in every golden ray that feed the lushest green garden within it. Several fruit trees was on one side of the dome as sectional dirt was given to vegetables and berries. The concert ground was covered in rich soil so the plants may grow. Far different than what it looked like before.  

Down below the dome, a large space of concert was given a new appearance. The main space was a new living room of comfort. The furniture with space consist of a large sectional couch that was found in the depths of the New York Bay. Many of what they have is from there. 

Its amazing what humans will throw away nowadays. Regardless of quality.   

A TV screen measuring 54 inches stood front in the room across from the couch,which was a nice dark oak color, standing on a slab of concert attached to the location. The plant was now feeling like the home they all left behind so many years ago. There has been ups and downs, arguments, disagreements. But it was worth in the end. 

It was during the month of summer and the day was beginning to rest. Deep within plant, the homemade Dojo with a beautiful Weeping Cherry Tree that stood in far back of the room standing 30 ft tall. 

In the same room, Shifu Ming was looking over the intense training of her four daughters. Two against two. Fair play only. 

First match was Amoly against Venus. They both stood opposite side of one another with weapons drawn. Venus had two steel tessens held within her hands as Amoly held a manriki that was made with strong pink silk and dark oak and metal handles. It was made to fit Amoly's special field of view. 

On the other side of the room, Talena and Larota was also facing against one another with their own weapons drawn. Talena had a  bo staff made with oak wood and steel like Venus' tessens, being able to retract into a small size. Larota held two kamas, weapons that looked like a pickaxe is way. It was made with stainless steel and oak wood. 

Amoly held her manriki with the silk wrapped around behind her and her stands loosen. It was subtle, but Venus caught it. 

Suddenly, in a blur vision, Amoly sprinted forward and and launch her weapon outward. Venus slide quickly to the side a dodged the attack and counter with a swift roundhouse to Amoly's lower body.  Amoly took hold of Venus's leg and swung herself to safety, landing away from her eldest sister. 

"You have to try harder if you wanna hit me Vennie." Amoly taunted as she played with her weapon. Saying her sister pet name. 

Venus's face was blank before a small smirk appeared on it. Venus drawn her tessens toward her head and held it there for a bit of time. Ten second of silence fill the air until a dim glow illuminate her tessens. Venus eyes shot open and she quickly dash forward and strikes her dead in her abdomen. Amoly rolled a few paces away before holding herself where she was strike. 

"Is that hard enough for you, Amy?" Venus asked as she closes her her tessens and the light from them dims out. 

"I get it." Amoly response as her rasp as the pain still lingered in her stomach.

Amoly stood on her her and walked aside to avoid getting in the way for the next match. Once the match was settled,the match between Talena and Larota begins. 

Tally draws her retractable staff and held it with a kokutsu dachi back stands. Larota held her kamas and took a kiba dachi stand with a more close area. Once again, silences fill the air before one talked. 

"You know, I'm getting you back for what you did last week." Larota said as irritation stained her voice. 

"I would figured." Tally maturely responded. This bothered Lara little. 

Tally stood in place as Lara launched herself forward towards her sister. Tally dodge the launch and swung her staff into Lara's back. This threw Lara far across the room before springing up back on her feet. Irritation turned to rage as she swung her kamas and she ran forward. Tally watched closely at her sister's form and saw a opportunity. As soon as Lara came close, Tally used her staff and drive it in between her kamas.

The kamas flew out of her hands and with the perfect opening, Tally swung her bo staff and threw Lara off the mat. Tally knew she'll be dealing with her later, but that's not for now. Defeated Lara staggered over to where Amoly was and sat beside her. Amoly stuck her tongue at Lara as a extra tease. 

The last match was set. Venus and Tally stood across from one another and drawn their weapons, eyes staying on the other. After a short time, Tally launched first. She swung staff towards Venus who leaps to one side before countering with her own attack. Tally splits below to dodge the sharp tessen. With a spot open, Tally swung herself to give a strong kick to Venus upper body. 

All the girls were very flexible with their bodies and are able to bend and twist their bodies to their convince. Amoly and Venus being the most flexible. 

The kick caused Venus to be tossed back, but she quickly recovered. Tally sprung up on her feet and took a stand. 

"Nice shot." Venus complimented on her sister's attack. 

"I learn from the best." Tally compliments back, referring to Venus. 

Venus taught the girls their flexibility since she was pretty skilled in it when she came back from being briefly raised by Chung I. His wife was the one who taught her flexibility. Ming had flexibility herself, but its rarely showed. 

The match continues for few more second, each one dodging and attacking one another until a upper was spotted by Tally. With no chance to waste it, Tally took her staff and thrust it behind in between Venus's neck and shoulder before throwing her own weight to cause Venus to tumble. Match was set. 

Tally helped Venus off the floor and smiled, though it wasn't the first time she lost to her sister, it definitely made Venus and proud that her sister is getting more skilled.

"Mianqian."

 Wow, that was a long time. Sorry for not posting in a while, school is taking its toll and I'm trying to fight back as much as I can. Midterm being one of them,Now I actually want to explain a few things to clear up any confusion. 

Mianqian = Front 

First, I made the training different from the first episode of TMNT 2012 because I didn't want this story to fell exactly like the show but with females. This is their story with different scenarios. 

Second, I made Larota lose because, while she is a good fight, but just like Ralph, she anger problems that will show mistakes that will appear while fighting. Show consequences. Tally was a good replacement since she is more humble than her second eldest sister. Showing that she's able overcome challenges.

Finally, since most of the 'canon' lore of these girls are so vague at best, I want to give readers to connect with these characters the same way in the show. 

I know some people don't read this part but hey.
