Family And Unwanted Past

Few Years Later

Several years has passed since Ming took in Oasis and her youngs. The two other has hatched with one of them only hatching a year later. Mei was 10 and Larota was 9.  The third egg to hatch was another girl, her skin was lighter than Mei's and Larota's, and her eyes was a rich red chocolate brown. After some time, she was named Talena and was 7 years old now. The last one to hatch was much smaller than all of them. Her skin was much lighter than everyone and her eyes was a shiny sky blue. Her name was Amoly. Only 5 years of age today. 

The day was early in the morning. Birds was singing their songs and the cooling summer breeze was swiping the grassy land. Ming and Oasis was in the backyard garden tending to the seasonal crops while the girls played together close by. Ming wore a lovely purple hanfu dress that fades in a dark pink that is speckled with small flower designs. Oasis also wore a hanfu, but hers was a glossy mint green with white flowers. 

The two mutated women was picking veggies for today's lunch and dinner later on, This was relaxing for them. Much has happened since Oasis and her youngs settled in with Ming, with the most stressful and startling one coming from Mei. 

It was a some years ago when Mei was just 6 years old. Ming was in the house meditating and Oasis was making lunch for everyone to eat. It all happened so fast. Once Oasis was done preparing lunch, she notice something was wrong. Lorata came, and so did Ming, but Mei was nowhere to be seem. Ming headed out to find while Oasis stood back to watch the youngs. Ming came back with nothing. 

Oasis became devastated, Losing a child is a nightmare of many parents. After days, turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Oasis was being to lose hope, Ming comforting her the best she. But nothing. 

For nearly three years, Mei has been missing from home and the worse was thought. That was until one night, late into the year that a miracle was given. It was Late into the night as Ming and Oasis ready themself for bed. But as the light was turned off, a sudden knock on the startled the both of them. 

Ming lived far from any villages and cities, so having someone knock on her door was a rare. Not knowing who could it be, Ming ordered Oasis to flee to the back room with youngs while she check who could it be. When Ming open the door, she was greeted by an elderly man with a black and white Hanfu with a added hood over his head. 

Keeping her calm demeanor, Ming asked the man what brought him here, and she got her answer. The man stepped aside to reveal a small turtle girl with a small leather journal in her arms. It was Mei. Ming called to Oasis to see was here and mother became overjoyed when she saw her young in her eyes. 

The man called himself Chung I and said he found Mei a few years back wondering the forest alone. Unable to find her home, he care for her himself and taught her the art of spell casting until he found her home. He even changed her name to another, Venus De Milo. The mothers was grateful and thanked the man for his kindness. After some time of bonding, the man left into the night. That scariest moment of time they ever experience, they kept a close eye on the them ever since. 

Time has passed since then and the turtles has grown and learned a lot since then as well. Ming has decided to teach the turtles the many fighting styles she studied over her years. From Chinese to Brazilian  They'll be able to protect themselves and others, with Venus's magic as a bonus. 

Today was an Off-day for them, a day to simply relax. Once the two mothers finish picking the veggies needed, they headed back to the kitchen and washed the veggies of the dirt that covers them. Some time later, Talena, the second youngest, comes into the kitchen with a worried look on her face. 

"Talena, darling, what's the matter?" Ming asked drying her hands. Talena stayed quiet for a bit longer before speaking her mind. 

"There's a group on people outside the garden." She said as her voice shaked a bit. 

The worry feeling Talena had spread across to Ming and Oasis as they quickly fled outside to to see a group of ten or so standing just beyond the garden, all wearing black. Venus stood still and stared at the unfamiliar group across from her. Larota held a stern face but fear was circling in her. Amoly was the most scared, crowarding being her sister, Larota. 

Ming and Oasis came to the girls side and hid them behind them with Ming standing in front of all of them. 

"What do you want, I have nothing that interest you!" Ming yelled out to the figures. They stood steady and said nothing. The silent stand-off went for a few more moments before the figures step aside two groups to make way for one individual. 

It was female, her frame was like a hourglass. Her body was also covered in black with with bloody red edges at the semes. The woman's face was covered with only her pale gray eyes piercing into Ming's.

"Is this really what happen to you, my dear Ming?" The woman voice was sharp cuts through the air like shining blade, but this voice was familiar to Ming. 

"Who are you?" Ming asked as she took a position to fight. The woman's wicked smile was hidden as the black fabric covered the lower part of her face. 

The woman lifted her left hand to her mask and slowly pulled it down as her other hand removed the covering above her head. Ming face fell pale as the face of the woman is reveal to someone of Ming far past. 

"Is really what happen to you old friend? It has been such a long time." The woman said as her wicked smiles showed as grows wider. Ming felt her stomach sank but didn't show it. She took a defensive stands as she covers Oasis and the youngs. The woman saw the mutated turtle and the her littlesl, this made her smile grew wider. 

"Isn't that cute? You'll actually had a relationship with another mutated freak and it's youngs"  She as faulted closer to the small family. Ming stood her ground. 

"This should be interesting."
