Several hours has passed since the departure of China, and the loss of a love.

The air was still very silent, with faint melody of the young girls snoring. Ming was still awake when the plane was coming to it's end, her eyes and heart still burning from the hours of silent crying she been suffering through. Sleep was giving to her, but only in small amounts. Fearing that someone with find them a inflict harm on her daughters, the only grew over time.

As Ming settled her thoughts and calmed herself of her loss, the engine of the plane roared and shriek as the plane prepared to land. The sudden eruption of sound violently woke the girls in panic as they shot up from their sleep.

"What was that, a monster?" Amoly asked as tears threaten to fall from her eyes while holding her eldest sister.

"No, girls. There is no monster. It's just time for us to depart, and find a new place to call....home." Ming said as her voice pause within the empty air before finishing.

The girls looked at their mother as her demeanor change briefly before returning back to the way it was.  Concern was written on their faces, but they were too scare to comment on the matter. With the time of departure growing, it would have been a bad time to do so anyways.

As the thread of time burns smaller and smaller, everyone began grabbing and adjusting the amount of luggage the have brought with them, with Ming carrying the biggest bags they had brought with them. They all readied themselves as the sounds of the plane becomes more deafening. With small thoughts buzzing through everyone's mind, the plane began to scrape and roll against the hard ground as the large door began to fall.

Quickly, Ming flung out of the plane as the door fell completely, the girls following close behind out of hidden fear. With all their might, they all began running as quickly as they to avoid being seen, ducking through objects and cars until they reached the fence of the airport. Without even speaking, Ming grabs Larota and Amoly in her arms as Venus and Talena was hooked by her long yet strong tail. With her youngs firmly in her grasp, Ming leaped over the fence and ran into the city. Her youngs still within her arms.

Ming ran continuously without even stopping for a breath, darting and weaving through alleyways, streets, and parked cars a like. Her heart raced along side her mind as she quickly and desperately search for a safe place to raise her turtles. After some time, and the night diminishing quickly, Ming final stop as her body yelled at her for some rest.

Ming collapse onto the ground as the turtles fell as well, but it was less painful for them. They quickly crowd around their shifu as she gasp for breath on the cold ground.

"Shifu, are you okay? You've been running for so long." Venus spoke up as she held her mother's arm as support.

Ming stayed quiet for a bit as the other three helped support their mother. Ming stared at the sight of her daughter as they held a part of her body in the spirit of helping. Tears nearly formed as she pushes herself into a sitting position, having regain control of her breathing.

"I'm fine, my daughters. Its just, I need to find us a place for all of us to stay and be safe. But it has been proven difficult." Ming said as head hanged low.

"Well, we can't find a home if we constantly avoid very possible choice. Maybe we should slow down a look around. See if we can find something." Venus express as she gestured her hands to the surrounding area.

"And while we're at it, maybe we can fix something to eat from our bags while we search. To keep our energy up." Tally added as she reaches into the luggage with fruits, snack-able veggies, and seeds was stuffed into.

"Yeah, we can also look out for any possible threats or humans. Right, Lara?" Amoly commented and waited for her sister's response.

"Right!" Lara said, joining in on the hope filling the air.

Ming was taken back by her daughters as they all began setting their plans into motion. Lara and Venus took hold two apples before splitting apart from the group to begin their search. Amoly and Tally did the same. Ming soon join in herself as she grabs a Chinese pear  and takes part of the search, with bright smile formed on her face.

The area they were in was consist of grass with concrete pathways. In the distant, the famous Brooklyn Bridge stood there with lights shining an not far from where they stand, the river flow freely nearby. The area it self looked like it hasn't been touch in years to come. With the pathway having bits of plant life growing it. The worry of being seen quickly vanish with the group as it was clear that nobody has came for years.

The search pressed on until Amoly came across as set of stairs going below, near the river. She descends on the platforms before coming across a large opening in shape of a circle. A sewer opening. A opening that she dwarfed.

"Hey everyone, I found something." Amoly called out as she stayed in place. Soon everyone came to see what the youngest has found, with all the bags with them as well. Ming stared at the opening that was clearly taller than her and saw nothing as the tunnel was drowned in darkness. This was possible safe place for her and the girls, but first they must venture further.

"Venus, do you still remember that light you learned from Chung? Please use it." Ming said as her eyes never left the tunnel.

Venus nodded to her Shifu's request and began channeling her energy until a small yet bright ball of blue light appeared in her hands. With light filling the tunnel, the family of females ventured through the tunnel, moving through twist and turns until another source of light came into view.

As they follow the light, they were soon greeted with an entrance to a very large room. The room was huge, reaching about 45 feet from where they stand to the other side of the room. It was so much bigger than the home they had back in China. The place was covered in graffiti, meaning people, or teens, has been here. But they were wearing off and was discolored.

It took some time to get a good look at the place, but after everything was said and done, it was determine that this place would perfect to raise the turtles. It was deep underground and get here was a challenge in of itself. It also didn't long to figure out that this environment was an old water plant. Used to purify large amounts of water. This would explain the large water tank.

The last thing they found while wandering the abandon plant was large dome that sat above the ground. It was deserted, a concrete floor with a thick glass dome that reached 200 feet above. Moonlight peered through the glass the turtles began running around the stone floor, laughing how it will make a great playroom, or even a garden once dirt gets put in. Why nobody came to reclaim the place remains questionable, but that can explored later on.

Ming smiled as images of the possible future flashes through her mind. Playing with her girls, teaching them, training them, and watching them grow and progress. Maybe this is the perfect place.

Perfect place for home.
