By the mailboxes a cluster of boxes addressed to me is piled up neatly underneath. I pick them up and carry them all the way to my apartment. When I finally set the boxes down I check for any life forms other than me, and sit down on the couch. I decide to start opening the boxes, and as soon as I do my phone chimes. A message from Logan flashes across the screen. I smile to myself as I pick up the phone and read the message.
Logan: Is there any way we could see each other right now?
~ First of all I just met you, but unless you want to help me unpack boxes of fan mail, I'm not sure I can oblige to your request.
I stand up and walk to the kitchen to find a box cutter. When I come back I still haven't received any notifications from Logan so I decide to carry on with the opening of fan mail. I slice one of the smaller boxes open as my phone screen lights up letting out another chime.
Logan: Well you want to get to know me, so I'm pretty sure opening boxes and envelopes would be a great way to start out.
~ maybe. Come over. I'll send you the address.
After sifting through a pile of colorful drawings and letters from fans I hear the buzz of my doorbell being rung. I push a button by the door allowing me to let in Logan. Most people would ask who it is but I'm almost positive a seventeen year old mass murderer isn't trying to enter my building. I open the door waiting for Logan to arrive. When he does, I let him in and lead him to the living room where there is still more fan mail to sort through.
"Welcome to my humble home," I say spreading out my arms as a sign of welcome.
"Ha. Humble you say?"
"Okay it's... spacious but its cozy."
"Damn right it's spacious," Logan marvels at the decor. The golden colored curtains draped over the glass window, letting in lines of sunlight that paint designs on the intricate carpet.
"I guess I never saw it in a way someone else would," I sit down, picking up the box cutter and continuing to open the packages of letters from excited fans.
"Have you ever thought of actually replying to some of these?" I say focusing my gaze on a letter with a very accurate portrait of me on the back.
"Some yes, but think about it. Wouldn't it be unfair to all the others? These people get excited when we reply, they'll tell others then we have to feel the need to reply to them to and soon it becomes everyone. We just don't have the time for it. One becomes all," he says. I ponder his reply for a moment when I think of my own.
"But these people, they put their hearts in these letters and they absolutely adore us, wish to be us, wish to meet us. They write these letters to show their live for us. If they take the time to wrote to us why can't we take the time to write to them?"
"I suppose you could look at it that way. Why don't you try replying to one," he suggests. I pick up a black pen that was lying on the table and scribble a reply on a piece of scratch paper. I put it in the envelope that the portrait girl sent me, and address it back to the owner.
"Did that feel good?"
"Yes. Yes it did," I say with a smile.
After another hour we decided to watch a movie of my choice. Of course I would pick a horror genre. Being me I've always wanted to play a role in one.
"Why does it have to be horror exactly?" Logan asks.
"Because you said it was my choice and this is my favorite movie genre. Now pick one. The Conjuring, The Exorcist, or It?"
"No not It. Anything but It. Just please no,"
"Okay. that leaves you with the two."
"Alright uh, the Conjuring," he agrees. Well only because he's forced to.

The door opens as I'm laughing at a scene.
"How could you be laughing? She just died!"
"I'm not laughing at death, I'm simply laughing at her stupidity. Why would she even think of going in the cellar in the first place? If I heard clapping and picture frames shattering, I would run out of the house screaming,"
"You have a point.. but she died!" He exclaims.
"What are you guys watching?" Sienna plops down on the couch as Dylan throws the keys on the counter.
"The Conjuring." I replied monotonously.
"Mind if I join?" She asked eyes Logan as Dylan sat down next to her.
"The more the merrier."
