The next night...

The three Baroques were back at the Lightborn Palace, but this time they were at the palace's wide backyard that faces a frozen lake.

It was said that Queen Aurora helped decorating the place to become a skating rink for this Stargazing Party-- an extension from last night's celebration. This would also serve as a countdown party for the first Snowfall which was said to happen after midnight.

Some younger heroes were already skating to their hearts contents. Their youthful laughter echoed throughout the whole place, creating a joyous ambiance.

There was a large bonfire already set ablaze at the center with comfortable mats laid just far enough for the warmth to permeate. Each mat was divided with a telescope for the stargazing activity. And on the other side was a small stage with fairylights as decoration. It had all the necessary instruments for the band performances.

Right now, Mister Hanzo and Hanabi were singing their own rendition of Bad Romance, with Mister Martis as the bassist and Mister Chou as their drummer. The other heroes and some young nobles were surrounding the stage, jumping and dancing like there's no tomorrow.

"So these are your mats. Please don't hesitate to call on our Palace maids and do feel at home. I'll be right back!" The Crown Princess herself escorted the three of them to their designated seats.

Princess Silvanna was so warm and friendly towards them, especially to Lancelot. It felt like her dear brother was an important guest in the eyes of Her Highness. Lancelot's name wasn't included in Guinevere and Odette's mat, but was rather placed next to Granger's-- their neighboring mat owner.

Granger has yet to arrive so Lancelot was all alone in his mat. He looked at Odette with longing eyes as if he was abandoned and the only person left in the world. The glow of the bonfire actuated his shimmering teary eyes, truly a picturesque scene.

"Oh, don't be so dramatic, brother dear. Our mats are still next to each other though there's a meter distance and this telescope..." Guinevere tried to cheer up her brother.

"Yeah, Lance-my-love. I'm fine with Guinevere as my seatmate. So just sit there and be a good boy, I'll give you lots of cuddles when we go back home." Odette also tried to pacify her childish husband.

"Okay, love. Let's go hom--"

Before Lancelot could finish his sentence, Princess Silvanna showed up with a few servants in tow.

"Here is your big mug of hot chocolate, a bag of marshmallows and stick and the best'n warmest blanket! Don't forget to share this with your seatmate! Teehee~" Her Imperial Highness cheerfully gave Lancelot the things she offered.

'And wait-- share these with Cringer?! Hell nooooooo!!' His soul almost left his body.

Lancelot couldn't help but stay still as the Crown Princess busied herself to make him comfortable in his mat. He didn't dare defy the future ruler of the Moniyan Empire. He didn't want to be sentenced with treason if he disobeyed!

The palace servants continued their duties and gave every guests seated in their respective mats the same stuff, but Lancelot's had bigger portions. He was truly Princess Silvanna's most important guest for the night!
