"Granger?!" Guinevere gasped.

She couldn't believe her eyes! Was she imagining things?! Or Granger was actually in front of her?

SPLASH!

The water from the fountain shot up exactly on her face, reminding her of reality.

"Pwah!! Ugh! Yeesh!" Guinevere wiped her face with her hand.

Though the water came from the purified Azure Lake, it was still inhabited by koi fishes. Fishes poop everywhere!

"Guini, are you okay? Here, lemme get these for you." Granger's deep voice resounded from the same spot earlier. 

He plucked the lotus stems and leaves stuck on Guinevere's hair while she stood frozen on her spot, ogling at Granger's handsome features. 

'Dangerously hot and handsome!' Guineevre internally fangirled. 'Oh Gord! My heart will explode! If this was a dream, I don't want to wake up!'

"Haha! It's been a while, Guini...though this wasn't how I planned for us to meet--oof!"

Guinevere's immediate reaction was to hug him. This man who stole her heart and disappeared two years ago was finally back.

"Grangey, you're back! Oh my Gord, you're here!" Guinevere cried.

"Yes, Guini. I'm finally home and I won't let you go anymore!"

Guinevere loosened her embrace and properly looked at the young demon hunter. And punched his chest, albeit lightly.

"Ow!" Though it wasn't as powerful as the ones she throw at their enemy teams, it still hurt a little bit.

"You're so mean! You didn't even bother sending me a letter!"

"I'm so sorry, Guini. I wanted to see you in person and show you how I'm back to normal. Don't cry, I'm here now! And we'll always be together, you like that? Hm?" Granger's eyes were also wet with warm tears.

"Of course I like that! And you're crying too!"

He only realized how long he craved for her warmth. Her unforgettable scent of Matthiola incana. 

Her lovable cheeks that subtly reddens whenever he's around. Her mesmerizing emerald orbs that looked at him tenderly.

Her kissable lips that looked so tempting whether it quirks up or down. Her melodious voice that none of his composed music could ever compare. 

Oh how he missed his first and only love, his muse! His Guini!

Guinevere also missed him as much as he does. Her eyes scanned the man before her.

He literally looked the same as before. He had the naturally flawless skin she envied two years ago.

Granger was tickled with Guinevere's fingers that traced the scar on his eye. It was a normal scar now.

"When did you woke up?" Guinevere asked while caressing his scar. Habits really die hard.

"Three days ago..."

"Gosh! And you traveled all the way here after that?!"

"Hmm. Something like that..." Granger sheepishly grinned.

"No wonder you still have bags under your eyes!" Guinevere giggled.

Granger grabbed her hand and placed kisses on each finger.

"Guini...I want to thank you." Granger said while rubbing his cheeks on Guinevere's warm palm. He looked lovingly at the happy toddler not far away from them and then at Guinevere.
