i found it hauntingly beautiful
how your faint light ate
the darkness in the streets
how the fireflies danced
in your glow like a mirrorball
when the world suddenly stopped
when all that's left in the air
was songs of crickets
mystifying, it was
how the breeze though cold
felt warm like an embrace-
maybe it was your embrace
and was it you
who whispered in the wind
that i look beautiful in healing?
that just like you i am full
glowing from within
and so i've learned to love you
even if this is but a phase
'cause just like you i'm full
just like you i'm half-filled
just like you i'm empty
