I awoke to a shake on my shoulder. I jumped up and punched them in the face. I ran back to see who it was.

Danny.

"Danny! What did you do that for?!" I yelled. He looked at me.

"You just punched me, Jaz!" I replied.

"I know, you shouldnt have woken me up like that. You should have at least stepped back. You know Im not a morning person." I said firmly.

"I know that! But you dont have to punch people that wake you up!" He replied.

"Then what if I get kidnapped?" I asked. He shook his head and Jared came in the room.

"Whats going on here?" He asked.

"Oh, you know. I woke Jaz up and she punched me in the face...again." Danny said. Jared rolled his eyes

"Come on." Jared said. I followed him outside with Danny following. We jumped off the saftey and went further in the forest.

"Why are we all the way out here? Why not just stay a few yards by the saftey?" I asked.

"'Cuz if we are out here, we will be less noticable. The BlueSuns might find out our saftey, and we dont want to be there if they do. We want to be as far away from them as we can." He said. He held his hand up over his head.

"Kick it I need to see if you've been practicing. We need to be prepared." He said. I kicked it. It was very high, but I just made it.

"Good, could you go higher?" He asked. I took a breath and nodded. I kicked a little bit higher, but my feet slipped from under me and I fell. I landed on my elbows and butt.

"You okay?" he asked. I got up.

"Why are you being all soft? I cant trian with softies!" I said. He smiled.

"There's my Jaz. Lets go. Kick higher!" He said. I kicked but I didnt make it. I kicked again. Again. Again. I keppt kicking util I finally got it. I practicly did the splits in air.

"It only took you twenty-seven times." Danny said from the tree he was leaning on.

"But I got it." I said. He rolled his eyes.

"Ok, wer gonna do new stuff. Maybe some reviews but mostly new. Climb that tree, to the very top. Make it in 10 seconds." He said.

"WHAT!?" I asked. "Im not doing that!" I said.

"Yes you will." He said.

"No I wont!" I said.

"Yes you will." He said calmly.

"Or what?" I asked. There was a long pause. As if he was debating wether to answer.

"I kill your mother." He said. My eyes widened.

"You wouldnt." I said.

"Yes I would. You know what Im capable of. I've killed before." He said. He was right. He killed off whole tribes by himself before. A tear escaped my eye. I knew I was being a little dramatic, but I had to keep climbing a 200 foot tree in 10 seconds. And I had to keep doing it unitl I got it right. Or my mother died.

"Im sorry, but I need to train you." He said. I shook my head.

"F-fine."I said.

"And quit crying. What happened to my Jaz that never showed her feelings? That never cried?" He asked.

"Derek." I growled. He nodded. I started to climb the tree. I counted the seconds in my head. I was at 5 seconds and I was only about 80 feet up. I started to climb faster at I got to 175 feet until the beeper went off by Jared. I jumped off and into the leaves of other trees. I used the trunk as a slide and got down.
