Chapter 1: Long Time🌊

"Hey Toph, wanna go out some time," Jut-sang asked, "No thanks, I'm busy," She brushed him off as she ran to work. 

"Sorry I'm late Russo," She said as she got her uniform on, "Well, be quick we got customers," He said.

Toph works in a Coffee Shop just to get and Idea of what work is since she comes from a wealthy family.

"Hey sir, what would you like," Toph looked up from the register and saw Sokka smiling at her. In utter shock, Toph dropped a cup, "Shit, Someone take over for a bit please," Toph called as she went out back.

She went out back and Outside just to sit, Shit it was Sokka. She Thought to herself, "Figured you'd be out here," He came up with another coffee in his hand, "Uh, hey," she awkwardly smiled.

"Hey, It's been a while," He smiled, "Two years actually," She nervously laughed a little.

"Yeah, how have you been," He asked, "Good, Just working," She smiled.

They sat there in silence until some until Toph had gotten a text, "No way," She smiled, "I made it, I passed," She stood up and cheered.

"What happened," Sokka smiled, "I'm becoming an official officer next week," She smiled.

Sokka couldn't help but blush a little. He missed Toph and seeing her bought back good memories.

"Hey, Beifong get back to work," Russo called from out back, "Well, that's me," She giggled.

"Hey, you maybe wanna grab a drink after," He asked without thinking, "Yeah, I'd like that," She shot him a quick smile before leaving.

Sokka than got a text from his girlfriend, Naomi, 

Naomi: Hey Babe

Sokka: Hey

Sokka: What's up

Naomi: Well, lets have dinner later on tonight

Sokka: Sorry babe, Got plans with an old friend

Naomi: You better make it up to me

Naomi and Sokka had been dating for over a year and They were happy but Sokka wasn't in love with her anymore and needed a way to let her down easy but she wasn't the easiest person.

Sokka finally made it home, "Hey Sokka," Aang called as him and Katara were cuddled up on the couch, "Ooogies," Sokka winced.

"Grow up," Katara got up, "Guess who I saw today," Sokka smiled, "Toph," He said, "Really," Katara looked happy, "Yeah, were going for drinks later," He said.

"Look at this couple," Aang smirked, "Aang, I'm in a relationship," Sokka glared at him.

"But she's a pain in the ass," Katara butted in.

"Besides, I wanna see Toph," Katara glowed, "You saw her on Monday," Sokka gave her a neutral look.

Later that night

"Twinkle Toes, Sugar queen," Toph smiled punching the two, "Haven't changed I see," Aang laughed as they went in and ordered the first few rounds of drinks.

"Thanks guys for coming out," Toph raised one as they cheered, "The only ones missing are Sparky and Kyoshi," Katara said.

"we knew we couldn't miss this," Zuko and Suki walked in, "OMG, I haven't seen you guys in a while," Toph hugged the two.

"We couldn't miss this opportunity," Zuko nudged Toph.

They were at there 4-6 drinks and Sokka, Toph and Zuko were the most drunk that night, "Guys there's karaoke," Zuko spotted.

"Katara, we need money," Sokka moaned, "Here, just don't be stupid," She watched as her brother, Toph and Zuko walked on stage as everyone watched (There was no one left except them).

"What song," Sokka asked, "Lets do Spice Girls," Toph laughed.

"Hell yeah," Zuko started dancing around stage before the song came one.

They sang there heart out until Toph ran to the bathroom, "hey Toph you okay," Sokka ran after her.

He entered the bathroom and heard the sounds of vomit, "Toph, You okay," He said snapping out of his drunk phase (Not completely).

"I'm-" she vomited again, "Fine," She laughed a little.

He sat on the floor next to her, "I'm sorry," Toph said, "For what," He said, "For-" She returned back to the toilet but this time Sokka held her hair up.

It bought back memories of High school, "For What happened between us," She said, "It messed up our friendship and I didn't want to do it but something was-" Sokka's lips touched Toph's at that moment.

He let go and they just stared at each other than Sokka remembered Naomi, "I'm sorry Toph, It was a mistake," Sokka rambled.

She just looked at him and couldn't say anything, "Toph you okay, you don't have to say anything," Sokka waited for her reaction but before she could speak she returned to the bowl and vomited.

Katara came in and saw them asleep and woke them up, "Hey, c'mon you two," Katara shook Sokka and Toph as they all went back to Toph's house.

"Lets all just," Sokka fell to the floor and fell asleep, "That's gonna hurt tomorrow," Suki laughed.

"Well goodnight," Toph said crashing on the couch.
