When we entered the restaurant, a music suddenly played by a band and I noticed that it’s our theme song (I Won’t Last a Day Without You by Carpenters). A smile formed into my lips then I looked at him happily.

We reached the table where our dinner is all set. “You liked it?” Quinn asked me nervously.

Instead of answering I just kissed him on his cheeks as response and said “Are you kidding? I loved it!”

He led me to my seat and turned to his seat after. “This is the first time I did this and you know that honey. I am not a romantic person but for you I will do everything to make you happy.”

I really can’t hide the happiness I feel inside. Ang lakas din ng tibok ng puso ko na parang gustong kumawala sa dibdib ko. Totooand sinabi ni Quinn ito ang first time niyang magset ng ganito and to be honest I am very overwhelmed. Hindi ko lubos maisip na gagawa siya ng ganito kasi nga hindi siya romantic na tao.

Matapos ang usapan naming iyon, we decided to have our dinner. We’ve talked a lot of things na para bang ngayon lang kami nagkausap. Our smiles and laughter filled the restaurant. After we finished our dinner he suddenly left his seat and headed to the platform where the band is playing. He took the microphone and smiled at me.

“Hon as I’ve always said, I am thankful that I have you beside me. A girl who is smart, beautiful, kind hearted and loving was with me for three years now and I am very happy for that. Hon, I wished that this would not end and will make everything to make that wish come true. I want to spend my life with you, alam ko bata pa tayo pero alam ko ikaw na ang gusto kong makasama habang buhay. I love you so much Hon and happy 3rd year anniversary. This song is for you. ^_^” then the band started to play.

His voice is really soothing, napakasarap pakinggan. I really feel emotional when he started singing, ramdam na ramdam ko yung kanta niya for me. Hindi ko napigilang mapaiyak sa sobrang kasiyahan na nararamdaman ko ngayon. Para na akong baliw na iyak tawa dito habang pinakikinggan siyang kumakanta.

When he finished singing, bumaba siya sa platform at pinuntahan ako. Hindi pa man siya nakakalapit sa akin ay tinakbo ko siya to hug him tight. “Sobrang saya ko hon.... Thank you for this night.. Ayan pinaiyak mo pa ako.” sabi ko sa kanya habang humihikbi.

He cupped my face and wiped my tears “Ikaw napakaiyakin mo alam mo naman na ayaw kong nakikitakang umiiyak di ba?” he said.

“Tears of joy lang po, pinakilig mo ako eh. I love you hon.” I said

“I love you more. Ikaw lang wala ng iba.” he said and kissed me, a passionate one with full of love.

When we ended the kiss he led me in the middle and we started dancing still with the same song he sang in the background. We enjoyed the night, this is the first time we celebrated our anniversary in a very romantic way. I could not ask for more. Having Quinn by my side is one of the best thing that happened in my life and just like him I never wanted to end this and I wanted to spend my lifetime with him, ONLY HIM.
