me and Ellie made our way out the door and well there were a lot more than what we thought there was gonna be.

i whispered "how are we doin this Ellie".

"let's split up and take them out quietly" she whispered back. "but we careful alright" she added and I nodded. she gently kissed my cheek then we went out separate ways.

after what felt like forever we got through these ass holes and now to Nora.

Ellie opened the door aiming a gun to Nora and I aimed mine at her as well

they talked and all I did was listen. she said something offensive about Joel and it ticked Ellie off. Ellie went to hit her with her gun but Nora his her with a pan.

i ran after her Ellie not far behind but now people knew we were here. I kept running after her and she tried to slow me down and it worked a bit but not enough.

i slid through a door and she tackled me to the ground. i took out my knife trying to stab her but she was holding me down.

Ellie shoved her off me and Nora quickly stood up running and Ellie chased her. now I'm running after them.

Ellie pushed her into a hole and I quickly ran after her. I saw the spores once it was too late and slid in hitting my head.

I breathed in and immediately started coughing. Ellie didn't even realize I was in here until I was coughing.

I pushed myself up and continued to cough. "Ellie..." I mumbled reaching for my bag that has fallen off.

she quickly ran towards me putting it on my face.

"y/n?!?" Ellie yelled looking at me as I breathed it in.

i looked at Ellie and said "do what you have to do...I'll be fine" I said taking deep breathes. i'm not infected you gotta breath spores way longer than I did to get infected.

Ellie nodded but she was still worried.

i know what Ellie did.

she pretty much beat her until she told her where Abby was. and Nora told us where Abby was too.

i stood up walking over to Ellie stumbling but she caught me.

"let's get back to the theater" she said and I could tell by the look in her eyes she was a bit traumatized.

TIME SKIP

we get home and Dina gets the door for us. Ellie quickly walks in with me. my shoulder was over her arm cause breathing in spores makes you weak like very weak.

"what the hell happened??" Jesse asked with a concerned look on his face.

"....she breathed in some spores not enough to infect her though" Ellie said looking down obviously feeling bad.

they were both concerned but knew I was gonna be alright which was reliving for everyone especially me.

Ellie pulled out a map and said "Abby's hiding out here" she pointed to the aquarium on the map and she was shaking.

Dina took her to get herself cleaned up and Jesse sat on the floor beside the couch where I was laying on.

"you alright?" he asked looking at me.

my skin was paler and I did feel like shit but I was still fine.

"don't feel the best right now but all I need is a bit of food and some sleep" I said giving him a small smile.

"well ain't gonna help if you keep talking to me so get some sleep and I'll wake you up in a bit to eat something" Jesse said standing right back up.

I nodded and closed my eyes falling asleep.

damn everyday just gets tougher and tougher.
