7 - the search

Ellie's POV

we got to a movie theater to stay at and now it was the next day. let's just say that we were both under so much stress right now. luckily we could hear their radio conversations so we may be able to find y/n with that.

but I've been listening all morning and nothing. it was all about people needing more help with something or telling troops where to go.

i feel like we're never gonna find her if this keeps up. 'she just has the worst luck don't she' i thought to myself.

I hear the word trespasser and quickly turn up the volume.

"we couldn't find the other trespassers just the one we brought back to camp"

"well keep looking around for them we're handing this one over here just fine" a man responded.

i didn't like how that sounded which made me want to find her more.

"we're stopping by that gas station near camp to see if this code is right"

i smiled a bit.

i stood up and ran down stairs quickly. i woke up Dina and said "we have a lead for y/n I'm going alone and though you need rest". i gently kissed her forehead then sat up and grabbed my bags making my way towards the gas station.

i knew where it was because it was on the map so all I had to do was follow that. it seemed kinda far so I had to move quickly.

I wish I still had shimmer but... I miss that horse.

it took about 35 minutes to get there by running and I was tired since I ran for a whole 35 minutes. I hid behind a building and sighed.

'alright now to find the easiest way to do this without dying' I thought to myself.

i looked around and saw there were about 5 of them. meaning y/n has to deal with 7.

i know exactly what I'm gonna do.

I go closer and wait patiently for only two people to be outside.

i knocked them out then pulled them away from the gas station and to the closest abandoned building. I tied them both up and waited for them to wake up.

once they did they both were a bit frightened.

they were about to say something but I cut him off.

"we're gonna play a game to see how good of friends you two are".

i walked over the first person who was a girl and said "point to where your camp is on the map". I grab her hands that in bindings and she pointed.

I nodded and when over the other person who was a guy.

"point to where your camp is on the map" I say and do the same thing and he points.

i look at them both and said "well sadly either one of you is lying or both of you are so...". I walk over to the girl and stab her leg just above her knee. "if the girl is lying you can either speak up or I'll pop you knew off and if it's the guy you can speak up or watch her go through the worst pain ever".

the girl held back screams and no one spoke. I shrugged and turned the knife a little making her scream a bit. no one spoke up and I kept turning the knife.

i was getting pissed off so I popped her knee off and said "tell me where your god damn camp is or it's her arm next".

"n-no please.... I'll tell you ok?!?" the girl say and I nodded. she pointed to it on the map shaking.

i then shot her in the head and walk up to the guy.

"what the hell she told you what you wanted!!"

I crouched down and said "point and you just might get out of this alive". i could see the fear in his eyes and he pointed to where she pointed.

i circled it then shot him in the head as well.

i sighed running my fingers through my hair looking at the spot I circle.

"y/n you better be alive"

y/n POV

i was left for awhile after the beating and someone finally came in then said "time to go". he pulled me up and we walk down the hall. I look around and no one is around us. I could escape right now.

i stopped and the guy gave me a look and said "move". he aimed his gun at me and then I said "I uh... I have to use the bathroom".

he just looked at me and I said "fine I'll just go now". he quickly stopped me and said "jeez just cmon". be took me to a bathroom and I obviously didn't have to go. i opened the medicine cabinet and found what I was hoping they had in here.

it was a scalpel.

I quickly put it in my pocket and moved. I knocked on the door for him to open it then he pulled me and we started walking again. i grabbed the scalpel from my back pocket and started to cut the rope. once I was free I quickly stabbed the guy in the neck a few times before he fell on the floor. I grabbed his knife and his gun and ran away from him in case someone was near us.

now for the hard part.
