3rd Person POV
After the mysterious encounter with Ichigo, Izuru and her go back to her house to explain the plans of Nagito's birthday surprise. But little did they know, everything was going to go downhill. See, Nagito never told anyone that his luck cycle gets out of hand on his birthday.
Since nobody celebrates it or was there to celebrate, he never brought it up. He had all of this good luck and it's now time for the bad luck. You know the correct way to start the day? By being late and realizing your best friend isn't there. "Sugar buns, sugar buns wake up!".
Izuru is now in Nagito's room after not coming back like he said. He's trying to wake the sleeping prince up, but it doesn't work. "Sugar buns wake up!". No movement, no sound. Izuru sighs and blushes a bit, "N-nagito wake up!". Nagito stirs a bit before he opens his eyes, "Izzy?", "What are you doing and why are you yelling?" he asks.
Izuru's face turns red, "Izzy are you sick?", "Your face is red". "N-nevermind my face your late for school!". "School? What are you-?". Then reality hit Nagito like a truck. "Today is Friday isn't it?" Nagito asks. "Yes, and your late". Nagito throws a pillow at Izuru's face, "Why didn't you wake me up sooner?!". "I wasn't here". "But you said you'd come back". Izuru now feels guilty, "I lost track of time, sorry".
"Hmph, get out of my room so I can get ready". "You can just do that in the bathroom" Izuru stated. "Not with being on top of me, plus I'm naked". Tomato Izuru quickly hurries himself off of Nagito. "Since when do you sleep naked?!" Izuru asked hiding his face. "It was really hot yesterday, now leave the room perv". "I'm not an- oh whatever". The dark knight has been defeated by the white prince, by emotions and being hot.
Who knew the dark knight now has a week spot? Plus emotions suck, who has them these days?

Nagito rushed down the stairs falling onto Izuru in the process. "Sorry Izzy, I just don't want to be late more than I am". "It's fine, I made you lunch for today anyways". "Thank you, I'd take it now but I can't", "So can you drop it off during lunch?' I asked.
"Of course, now lets get going", "Don't forget to grab your bag and-". I cut him off, "I'll walk by myself". "Why? I can take you there-". "I know, you've done so much for me Izzy I'll go by myself" Nagito tells him. Nagito then rushes out the house.
The whole entire walk was Nagito, getting hit by 2 buses, helping 625 old ladies cross the street, yes we don't know where they came from either. Which all resulted him on being extra late to class, the gates were about to close as he ran through them like a serial killer. Not a good comparison but ok.
He rush throughout the halls of Hope's Peak, good thing Taka wasn't there, and slammed the door open to his class out of breath. "Nagito you're late and- what happened to you?", "Also why is there a bunch of cats on your head?" Ms.Yukizome asked.
Nagito sighed as he closed the door and came back. All of the cats were gone. "Is that sit in the back still there Yukizome sensei?" Nagito asks. "Yes it is why?". Nagito ignored his teacher and headed into the back and sat down. As he did, he fell into the floor. Nagito has never seen such bullshit in his life.

It is now lunch time for the students of Hopes Peak Academy. Our favorite lucky boy, is dreading across the hallways of it. I just realized recently I've had a lot of good luck, no wonder today started off so horribly. How pathetic of a being am I?
"Hello? Sugar Buns". Nagito snapped out of his thoughts and looked up at the person in front of him. "When did you get here Izzy?". "You told me to bring your lunch did you not?" Izuru asked. "I did but- wait did you just call me Suagr Buns again?". Izuru smirks and chuckles a bit.
Nagito's face turns pink a bit, "Not funny hmph". "Take your lunch, I can't stay any longer than I want too" Izuru states, handing Nagito the bento box. "And why is that?" Nagito asks, taking the bento box. "I have to prepare for something, also when you get home be ready by 5:30", "I wanna take you somewhere". Nagito smiles, "Ok".
The fluffy boy then walked away, Izuru had a small smile on his face. "Look who came to our school today", "The famous Dark Knight". "Fuck off Ichigo". Izuru slowly started walking towards the exit, with Ichigo trailing beside him. "So how's those emotions going for ya?" She asks. Izuru doesn't answer.
"Aww still salty about last night?", "Sorry that I told you the truth and it hurt". "It happens all the time with being human and all" Ichigo rambled. "Shut up, if you're trying to help me I don't need it". "You do know you don't have my talent right?", "So obviously you'd be clueless about what's going on and how you're feeling" Ichigo explains.
"Right now, you are pestering me, I do not like that", "I'll understand emotions on my own" Izuru snapped. "Right, right and how will you do that in someone else's body?". Izuru stopped walking and glares at the shorter girl. "I'll get my own damn body". "You've been saying that for the past 3 years", "Where has that gotten you?".
"A lot actually", "But that isn't none of your business". "Am I really get to the great and powerful knight?" Ichigo taunted. It was one of those weeks she decided to do that. Izuru honestly wanted to kill her on spot but that can't happen. "What do you want?". "Hmm, can't say I want it, I do but hmm".
"Do you know about Ko's luck cycle?" Ichigo asked. "Cycle? No it's the first I've heard of it". "Well, with luck it's double sided, good and bad", "And it affects the way he's living" she explained. "Your point is?". "He's had a lot of good luck recently and now the bad luck is coming in, today might be extra worse since it's his birthday".
"And what would you like for me to do about this?". "Before I get into that, today is the last day Ko will have good luck for a bit", "So he'll have bad luck for sometime". Izuru sighed annoyed, "Can you get to the point". "What I'm asking you to do is stay by his side". Izuru scoffed, "You didn't have to ask that", "I was already doing that".
"I know loverboy, this is more serious than you think", "That's why I'm asking you to do it". "I know I'm a superhuman and all, but how am I truly going to help him?" Izuru asks. "Like you have been doing, canceling the bad luck". "Now tell me the second reason, and don't play dumb".
"And here I thought you were going to keep doing that". Izuru glared at her once again. "It has something to do Haji but I have no idea how".
Author's Note: Foreshadowing bitches ;) hope you guys enjoy the chapter when it comes out. To be honest, I feel like the plot is getting boring by the way I'm writing it. Though you guys won't get it no time soon. (Updated version: friend is sad so I update, friend no be sad me wuv you <3) also I'm not looking for mistakes
