*~Chapter 42: What A Birthday Surprise pt.2~*

Izuru's POV

     What could Hajime possibly do that might hurt sugar buns? That was the one question on my mind after the little talk I had with Ichigo. Though she can be annoying sometimes, she is very helpful in situations like this. She obviously told me for a reason, and this reason just had to be dangerous.

     Hajime wouldn't beat up sugar buns that's for sure. So what could he possibly do? He doesn't hate sugar buns or else I would feel it, so what does this mean? The only possible conclusion I can come up with is he does it in accident. Hajime isn't capable of hurting sugar buns, physically, emotionally, or mentally unless it's an accident.

      "Izuru? What are you doing here?". Speak of the little annoying devil. "What do you want Hajime?" I asked, clearly annoyed of how everyone, besides sugar buns, keeps bothering me. "You can start by answering my first question". "First? So you're planning to interrogate me?", "How rude, I have no consent of answering".

      He groans and I smirk. "I'll just interrogate you later without consent" he states slightly smirking. I fake gasp, "Oh no! My owner finally cares for me because I am now a threat to steal his crush", "So now I'll shall be interrogated because he is also nosy and I am a threat". "What bullshit are you sprouting now?" He asks annoyed.

        Now you see how I feel. "The truth, now have a good day I'll see you later". I finally exit the building of Hope's Peak hopefully nobody will try an talk to me any-oof. Who the hell just ran up to me? The anger that I once had disappeared when I recognized the white fluffy hair. "Hey Sugar Buns".

     He doesn't answer me, I tilt my head in confusion. "Is there something wrong Sugar Buns?" I asked. He nods against me. "Would you like to talk about it?". He nods again, sniffling a bit. I immediately get defensive, more of protective actually. The reason, I don't know maybe because he's holding back tears.

     "Nevermind, it's stupid" he mumbles. Sugar buns tries to walk away but I pull him back. He doesn't look at me. "Why won't you look at me Sugar Buns?", "I want to help my best friend". "I said nevermind Izzy, so please let me go". "You're obviously upset and want to talk about it". "I um, can you perhaps stay?" He asks quietly.

     "I can't do that Sugar Buns". "I-I know you're busy but please I don't want to be alone" he begged. "You won't be alone, you'll be in-". "My classmates don't like me, but you do Izzy". "Isn't lunch almost over?" I asked. "Y-yes but-". I cut him off, "I'll walk you to class and stay a little bit ok?".

     "R-really?", "Aren't you busy?" He asks. "I am, but I can make time for you", "Let's go". I grabbed Sugar Buns' hand and walk back into Hope's Peak. Though I did not want too, but I'm doing this for Sugar Buns. He was hiding behind me while I was holding his hand.

     Man, the shit that school does to a person's mind. The people in the halls kept looking at us and I glared at them. For some reason I have a scary presence, which is good in some cases. There's more Sugar Buns wanted to tell me but didn't. Earlier I spotted some light scars on his face.

     Obviously, I didn't speak about. I don't like pressuring Sugar Buns especially not on his birthday. Who would want to trigger someone on their birthday? "Um Izzy?". "Yes Sugar Buns?". "What exactly am I supposed to wear?", "Also can you let go of my hand?" He asks.

      I let go of his hand, "You can wear something casual". "Ok but where are we going again?" Sugar Buns asks. "Surprise". "Wha-? No fair!", "Tell me!". "It's a surprise sugar buns". He pouts, "Hmph". "At least you're happy now" I tell him "I- take it back" he says hitting me. I chuckle at his reaction.

     "Don't laugh at me Izzy!", "Take it back!". "Take what back?" I asked. "The happiness you just gave me!" He stated. His face was beet red. "I did what?", "Also your face is red". His face turns more red, reminding me of tomato. "S-shut up and take it back!".

       I smirk and pick him up. "I-izzy put me down!" He yells. "Stop yelling we're in the hallway" I tell him. He puff out his cheeks in annoyance and I smile softly. How I wish you were fully mine. "Boop". I blink and look down at fluffy haired boy. He giggles and taps my nose. Adorable.

      I kick open the door to Sugar buns class and put him down. "Oh a pleasant surprise to have the Dark Knight visit our classroom!" Yukizome stated. Though she knows my name and could've said it, she respects me enough not too. For identy purposes of course.

    "Yes, I'd just would like to observe the class for today and drop off one of your wonderful students" I stated. Sugar buns side eyes me, basically 'really'. Hinata glares at me and I just smirk. "So why exactly are you 'observing' the classroom?" Hajime asks annoyed. "Mr.Hinata don't go questioning—".

     "It's fine Yukizome". Sugar Buns smacks the top of head. "If you're going stay and observe at least act like a student and address Yukizome~sensei correctly" he scolds, pouting a bit. "Bro did you just hit and scold the Dark Knight?!" The pink haired shark asked. "If I'm going to act like a student, please address me as one", "My name is Izuru Kamukura".

     The whole class besides Ichigo, Sugar Buns, and Hinata looks at me weirdly. "Is there something on my face?". "No or else somebody would tell you", "You think you'd use your brain" Sugar Buns stated sarcastically. My smirk gets bigger and I rest my on Sugar Buns head. "I'm not a stand for you to rest on". "Of course not, I just happen to notice all the spunk you have today".

      "And before you even say anything, don't degrade yourself" I stated. "Didn't even give me a chance to respond" he mumbles as he walks to the back of the classroom. "Where can I sit?" I asked. Yukizome started talking but I blocked her out. My focus was on Sugar Buns, the desk in the back was not safe.

    I started walking towards his direction. The floor is going to break. He sits down and the floor board starts to break. I quickly catch him before he could fall. Nagito has never seen such bullshit in his life.
