I Hated You Now I love You

Chapter 15

It seemed mostly like a normal school day. 
You were with Kyle at lunch and scrolling through TikTok. You came to a cute animal compilation. It had kittens, hamsters, puppies, and ferrets. 
“I want one,” you say and show Kyle the ferret. 
“Aw its so cute,” he giggles. You hugged your phone.
“It’s sooo cute,” you say. 
“Just like you,” Kyle smiles and kisses your forehead. You smile lightly and lean up against him. You continued to scroll through TikTok. 
You had work after school today so you obviously headed over to the parlor after school. 
“Hey how was school today?” Mili asks as you walk in.
“It was good,” you say. You head to the back room and set your stuff down. You walk back to the main area and waited for customers. 
You had your break around seven. You headed out to the side of the building and scrolled through your Instagram. 
“Eh hm,” someone cleared there throat. You looked up and over to see Cartman. “Hello Y/n.” 
“What do you want?” You ask. Something told you he wasn’t good news. 
“Oh nothing, just wanted to give you a bit of information that Kyle might not of told you,” he says.
“And What is that?” You ask. 
“Kyle is MY ex-boyfriend,” Cartman says emphasizing the ‘my’. You didn’t want to believe him. Kyle would of told you right? 
“I find that hard to believe, I don’t think he would go out with someone as unflattering as you,” you say. 
“Why don’t you just ask him, I’m sure he wouldn’t lie to YOU,” Cartman smirks. The timer on your phone went off. You glared at Cartman as you walked back inside. For the rest of the night you couldn’t stop thinking about what Cartman said. Tomorrow morning you could ask Kyle about it. 
-Time Skip from Tweek Bros Coffee- 
You got into the back seat of Stan’s car. ‘Should I ask him now or in private? Will his answer change?’ You thought to yourself. 
“Watch you thinking about?” Kyle asks. 
“Someone told me something last night... I can’t get it off my mind,” you say. 
“What were you told?” Kyle asks. You sighed might as well ask now.
“Did you ever date Cartman?” You ask. The whole car seemed to freeze or at least tense up. 
“I-yeah...it was a few months ago...before I got to know you,” Kyle admits. You sigh and lean back. You didn’t know how to respond. You were upset he didn’t tell you before hand. The rest of the car ride was tense despite Kenny trying to make it less. When you got to school you could still feel the tension between you and your boyfriend. 
It wasn’t until lunch that it was brought up again. 
“When were you going to tell me?” You ask Kyle. 
“Eventually...I don’t know...it was in the past I didn’t want it to affect our current relationship. I didn’t want you being scared that I would go back to him,” Kyle says. You sighed.
“I’m not mad... I’m just upset that you didn’t tell me and Cartman did,” you say. 
“Wait Cartman told you?” Kyle asks.
“I was on my break and he came up to me. Then he told me about you being his ex. I didn’t want to believe him...,” you sigh.
“I’m sorry honey,” Kyle says and hugs you. 
“It’s...okay,” you say muffled into his chest. You still couldn’t help but wonder if he was hiding anything else from you. 
The tension cleared between the two of you. 
“So it done being tense between you two?” Kenny asks. 
“Yeah,” you smile and look at him. 
“Good,” Kenny sighs. You pull away from Kyle and you guys go up to get your lunch. 
*Kyle’s Pov* 
“Stan I need your help,” I say and hop into his car after practice. 
“With what? Save your ass before Cartman tells Y/n everything?” Stan asks. 
“No... Why did you have to mention that?” I groan. 
“Dude, did you not see the depressed look he had when he got into the car this morning? You are Y/n’s everything...well besides Collin but that’s besides my point,” he says. I knew Stan was right... I had to tell him I just didn’t know how. What if he got scared or what if he stopped loving me? 
“The longer you keep it from him the more upset he’s going to be that you didn’t tell him. Especially if Cartman tell him,” Stan says, he knows what I was thinking.
“I know but how do you mention that in a conversation? Hey Y/n, I know you love me and I love you, but when I was with Cartman I lost my virginity to him. I got into drugs and alcohol for a while. I ripped on you continuously. He already knows I use to hate him, but it’s just...terrifying. What if he gets scared? What if he breaks up with me?” I state.
“You’ll feel better when you get it off your chest,” Stan says. 
“I guess your right,” I sigh.
“Now despite that what did you need help with?” He asks.
“Oh yeah I wanted to go to the pet store.    Y/n wants a ferret,” I say. 
“A ferret?” Stan asks. 
“Yeah I’m gonna ask Mili if they have room for it,” I say and pull out my phone.
Me: Hey you guys got room for a Ferret at your house? Y/n said he wanted one. 
Mili: awww. Yeah I think so and if we don’t we’ll make room! 
“We’re in the good,” I say. 
“Alright,” Stan nods and we head to the pet store. When we got there we were greeted by a nice lady. 
“Can I help you boys?” She asks.
“Uh yeah, we’re do you guys keep the Ferrets?” I ask. 
“In the back corner,” she smiles and points to the back corner.
“Thank you,” I smile and head to the back. They’re so cute and curious. They starred at Stan and I. 
“I want all of them,” I say and look at Stan. 
“I don’t think we should, they are really cute though,” Stan says and rubs one on its head. 
“Find one you like?” 
We both jump and look at the lady from behind the counter. I look at them all over again. Then one catches my eye. It’s a light grey with patches of white and black here and there. 
“Yeah, the light grey on with the white and black patches,” I say. She smile and nods. She opens the cage and grabs the ferret and hands it to me. 
“It’s a boy,” she says. The Ferret curls right up against me,” there cages are all along this wall.” I nod as Stan and I look. 
“What about that one?” I ask. It seemed big enough for my new found son. 
“Yeah I think this will be good,” Stan says and grabs it. We walk to the counter and check out. 
When were done checking out we head back to the car. I pull out my phone and text Mili. 
Me: when does Y/n go on break?
Mili: Here in a few minutes actually. If you show up now you should be able to catch him. 
Me: alright
“To the parlor,” I smile. Stan started to drive to the parlor. We saw Y/n out side the shop waiting. Mili must of told him to come out front. He seemed unfazed by seeing Stan’s car. I roll down the window.
“Come meet your son!” I call to Y/n. He looks confused and walks to the car. 
“Last I knew I didn’t have a child,” he says. 
“Are you sure?” I smile and hold up the sleepy Ferret. Y/n’s eyes widen as he grabs the sleepy boy from my hands. 
“What’s his name?” He asks.
“Doesn’t got one yet,” I say and step out of the car. 
“Hmm...?” Y/n hums and examines the Ferret,” what shall we name you?” 
The ferret started to sniff Y/n cautiously. 
“Curious...,” he mumbles,” what about.... Loki. You seem like your going to be a mischievous little guy.” Y/n looked at me.
“Yeah, I like it,” I nod. 
“So is he going to be with me or you?” Y/n asks. 
“Mili said you guys have room at your house,” I state.
“Yeah alright,” he nods,” I still have to work for another hour or so I’ll meet you at my house.” 
“Yeah alright,” I nod as Y/n hands Loki back to me. I give him a quick kiss on the forehead.
“I’ll see you later,” he smiles. 
“Yeah,” I nod. 
Later that night Stan and I got Loki’s cage set up in Y/n’s room. (Y/n sat on the bed cuddling him.) 
“I think you should talk to him about it now,” Stan whispers to me. 
“Yeah,” I nod. Stan walks out leaving me with Y/n alone.
