I Hated You Now I love You

Chapter 18

You watched as Kyle left. You let out a cry that was painful and deep. The person who had helped you figure yourself out. One of the few people that made you feel feelings just walked out of your life. You were back to being nobody...you were back to being that one kid in the background. 
“What! What happened?!” Mili asks as she quickly opens your bedroom door. 
You gave her the look. 
“Oh sweetie, come here,” Mili says as she sits on the edge of your bed. You lean into her and cry. 
“Why does it hurt so much?” You ask. 
“I don’t know... it just does,” she says and rubs soothing circles up and down your back. 
“Y/n?” Collin peeks his head into your room. He walks over to your bed and crawls up on it. “Are you okay?” 
You pull away from Mili and look down at him. 
“I’m going to be, don’t worry about your big brother,” you smile at him. He smiles back and nods. 
“Right!” He exclaims and walks back out. 
“You act way to strong in front of him,” she sighs. 
“I know,” you mumble. She hugs you again as tears pour out again. 
“How about this, tomorrow after school I’ll pick you up after school we’ll get ice cream and movies. We can have a family weekend,” she says. 
“That sounds great,” you say.
“Alright get some rest, you look very tired,” she says. You nod and get up to put Loki back in his cage. He gives you a baby kiss before you close the door. You lay down in your bed and Mili tucks you in. 
“Goodnight Y/n,” Mili says and walks to your door.
“Goodnight mom...I love you,” you say to her. 
“I love you too,” you hear her say. 
The next morning you walked to school. It wasn’t the far of a walk. You walked into school and to your locker there was a sticky note on your locker. 
‘I won!’ 
You sigh,” yeah, yeah you did Cartman.” 
You rip the sticky note off and crumble it up. You open your locker and get your stuff around. You shut it then turned to see Kyle with... Cartman. You felt your heart ache. It’s not like they were together... Kyle just broke up with you last night. They couldn’t be together right? Cartman was desperate though... Cartman caught your eye and smirked. He grabbed Kyle’s chin and kissed him.
You broke. You ran to the closets bathroom. You looked yourself in the last stall and started crying. How could he move on that quickly? Then you realized it...Cartman planned all of this out so meticulously. Down to the very last detail. You truly had lost. You were no one again. 
You ditched all of your classes for the day. You couldn’t bring yourself to leave and every time you thought you could you would start crying again. The final bell rang and you walked out you went to your locker and rushed out of the school. You waited for Mili in the parking lot. You saw her car pull up and you quickly hop in before anyone sees you. 
“You’ve been crying all day haven’t you?” Mili asks as she looks at you.
“Is it that obvious?” You question, your voice was strained. Anyone could tell you were tired. 
“Yeah...come on let’s go get ice cream and movies,” Mili says. 
You nod as she starts to pull out. 
“I was getting beat up...because I was with Kyle...then he found out, that’s why Kyle broke up with me,” you say to Mili. 
“Wait who was doing that to you?!” She asks. 
“His name is Cartman, remember when I came back in from my break that one day. I had a bruise on my cheek...?” You explain. 
“Oh Y/n... why did you do it?” Mili says. 
“Because I was willing... I loved Kyle, and I didn’t want to give Cartman that satisfaction,” you say. Tears started to pour down your cheeks again. 
“It’s gonna be okay,” Mili sighs and sets a hand on your shoulder. You nod slowly. 
At the store you got (favorite ice cream) and vanilla ice cream. You then picked up Collin from school. 
“Y/n! I made you something!” Collin exclaims as he hops in the back of the car.
“And what’s that?” You ask.
“Close your eyes and hold out your hands,” he says. You do as your little brother says. He then sets something in your hands. “You can open them!”
You opened your eyes to see a small shell necklace. 
“I love it,” you smile at him. 
“Yay! Does that mean your going to be less sad?” He asks. You didn’t really know how to respond, so you just gave him a light nod. 
When you got home you chose a few movies to rent and stream. Mili first ordered pizza then you all watched the movie you had selected. Collin say between you and Mili. 
You and Collin fell asleep halfway through the fourth movie. 
When you woke up in the morning Collin was gone. You stood up and stretched out to seem him in the kitchen with Mili making breakfast. 
“Morning Y/n!” Collin smiles as you sit at the breakfast bar. 
“Morning little dude,” you smile at him. 
After you had breakfast with Mili and Collin. 
You went up to your room and let Loki out. He curled up into your hood. You sighed ready and accepting that you weren’t anything to anyone. (Besides anyone in this house)
