I was laying on my bed, reading a book. Or attempting to. After the call with Jessica I was confused and my mind kept racing. Like two cars down a dead street until one of them crashes into a tree. I finally set the book down, after hours of staring at the same page. My phone started to vibrate, I grabbed it and saw the caller ID was Jessica.

"Yes? Hello? What's going on?"

Jessica's breathing made her sound like she was crying, "Jessica, what's wrong?"

"I killed her." The words were almost a whisper, I could barely even hear her.

I had to have heard her wrong.

"I can't hear you...."

"I killed her." She said louder and more clear.

"Who?"

"Marnie."

The line went dead.

Jessica killed Marnie? I thought Dylan did? What's going on?

I called Dylan, hoping he would clear up all of the confusion. He answered on the third ring.

"Hey Bee," His voice sounded heavy, like he had just ran a marathon.

"Jessica just called me, and im really confused,"

"This is something we need to talk about in person. I'm bringing Jessica with me, please meet us at the park. We'll be there in a few minutes."

I grabbed my sweatshirt and ran down the stairs, right past my parents. I shoved the sweatshirt over my head, and walked to the park closest to my house. I sat on the Merry-Go-Round and waited for Dylan's car to roll down the hill. After probably an hour it did. I stood up and walked over to the parking lot. Jessica got out, her face red and puffy. I could tell she had been crying. Dylan got out of the car and we all walked to the picnic table.

"I have a story." Jessica announced when we sat down.

"I was in love with Dylan. We sort of had a thing in the past. We never dated, it was kind of like a friends with benifits kind of deal. I fell in love, he did not. We continued with our fling while him and Marnie were dating. I felt bad, sure, but i wasn't going to stop. My love got bigger, and bigger. Deeper, and deeper I fell. All of my life, Marnie got what I wanted. I was tired of it. I got ahold of Dylan's phone once and texted Marnie. ' Go to the Bluffs. (: ' when she got there, I was there. Not Dylan. She was confused, and I told her. I told her everything. She tried to hit me, but missed. I laughed and started my go at her. I was so full of adrinaline that I pushed her off of the bluffs. I turned around and Dylan was there. I told him that it was his word against mine, and if he didn't do as I said, I would tell everyone that it was him."

Jessica finished and wiped her face on her sleeve.

Dylan didn't kill Marnie

Jessica did.
